What is this the final draft of? I don't think you'll get it published... Why are you lumping Randi and Dawkins together? Dawkins is just one man who has become the figurehead, because of some high profile books, for the concept of putting reason before fantasy. Something millions of people unlike yourself do. Randi is just a magician who likes to point out other people's deceptions. Who has nothing to do with the people on the conspiracy theory debunking section of the forum on his website. Please explain. |

There will come the time where you will somehow grow and understand much more of the world then you do now. Sooner or later you will understand that it helps to have a language in common that is based on understandable sentences which are constructed in a simple and logical fashion or based on scientific standards and terms. Language has most of the time the function to interact with other human beings and therefore it is contradictory to speak in a mystical fashion and to be the only one who makes sense of what you say. The more specific you are the better. The truth 9/11 movement is a movement that is based on scientific and investigative/journalistic research which use scientific standards. We are skeptics ourselves, because we question things that lack of reasoning and do not add up. And we have empirical data, material that was researched and scientific methods in conjunction with logical reasoning on our hands to separate facts and conclusive theories from misinformation, disinformation of intelligence services and spin. That said you will understand that most of us do not question the validity of Randis standpoints. That does not count for every member of the JREF forum when their skepticism is not far enough and they prefer a save psychological haven of denial instead of facing the facts and circumstantial evidence with all the implications and consequences that would shake their believes. Only a premadure JREF could possible think that any people in denial of the real facts could possibly be compared to Randi or the 9/11 truth movement. That means that it does not make much of a sense to post what you just did on this forum. Perhaps you try to post on JREFs forum, because it does fit better over there? Nevertheless we respect everyone here and are always kind enough to listen to every-ones arguments. |

I think SureShot was the one who dug up all the dirt to demonstrate how bogus the $1M offer was. The $1M is paid in bonds, and there is no guarantee that the bonds are worth anything more than a roll of toilet paper. It is also correct that an applicant for the challenge has to basically perform all the acts of the late Jesus Christ, and even then Randi will change the rules to disqualify him: The bread was OK, but the fish was awful. |
