Well, after having joined here not long ago, and having digested most of the relevant facts and info here, I decided to venture into JREF land. I started a thread introducing myself, and asked some straightforward questions in a polite manner. I found myself confronted right away with things like "This has all been debunked already", and 'Use the search function and come back when you've learned something". Then, this one pompous ass launches a personal attack after what was only my 2nd response. Well, I attacked back which promptly got me banned and my thread completely removed. I don't know if it was deleted or moved to some part of the site you can't see, but it's all gone. Talk about a bunch of a-holes! Rude, arrogant, and not to mention the totally biased mods playing favorites with the "Good old boys" there. At first I was pissed off beyond belief, but now I'm just smiling and shaking my head. I hear you guys calling these people "Duh-bunkers", well, now I know why. Screw JREF. I would imagine most, if not all of you had this happen some time ago, but being a relative newbie, this is a real eye opener that I needed to vent about. A story that is all to familiar I'm afraid Gunplumber! They have just recently banned a poster called Hewia, because he challenged them to create a model where 1/10th can crush and destroy the other 9/10th, they failed and rather than admit it, they have banned him. I used to have a lot of respect for James Randi himself, but he's let the lunatics take over his asylum and soil his name. Debunkers need a haven to continue on the path of self deception and JREF provides it! lol Cheers Stundie

I would not call that good news. That forum is just one more place that you can not make your influence felt now. What was the reason they used for banning you? Got a link? you have as much chance as influencing someone there as you do convincing a room full of zombies not to devour your brain..... i was banned there because i pointed out that 911chewbaccadefense [fka calcas] friend tom hull at johnstown air traffic controll was a convicted pedophile in prison just after he claimed tom was reading the thread and said he would have 'decked' calcas if he had brought me to johnstown atc like he offered not expecting me to take him up on it..... that place is a waste of everyone's time and the only reason they have credibility is because some people in the revolution feel the need to address their cowardly anonymous ignorant comments.... |

What was your name there. It is not that easy to banned there and threads don't get taken down just because of disagreement. This website had a history of banning disagreement not JREf. On the subject of Hiewa. he was there for over 2 years and had over 3,000post. Not exactly a case of someone being silenced.
