I am in the process of ripping the moussaoui trial site to my hard drive and I came across this video... http://www.vaed.uscourts.gov/notablecases/moussaoui/exhibits/prosecution/AQ00087DVD.html It is an .MPG which is 16:50 in length yet it is 1.01 GB in size. I have converted it to .FLV ( so I can embed them in my local pages ), and that is only 70.7 MB in size. I see nothing unusual in the format..
The other videos I have already ripped from there which are about the same length and format are between 1/3 and 1/2 the size... I wonder what else is hidden in that .MPG file.

Thanks for that chart MM.  I just noticed that P200070 is also rather large, but I don't know for sure yet as I am currently downloading it. |

when I'm calculating 7000kbit in the video track, that sums up to almost 900mb for almost 17 minutes length. combine that with the audio track, it gets close to those 1.01GB .. looks like somebody did an overkill in video quality
