Mornin' all. I'm an old friend of Dylan's, I knew him back when he watched TMNT an played gameboy. Anyhow, bro, it doesn't surprise me at all that you took this direction in life. One of my mom's ex girlfriends was in the Army and served at NORAD for several years, and what she told me was that CENTCOM's and NORAD's policy is for a maximum of 3 minutes between when the FOF (friend or foe beacon, or radio transmitters) are lost and when they have pilots scrambling jets to get in the air. 23 minutes passed, and she said the only things that could prevent pilots from scrambling is if there were patrols already in the area, or a very very high level order to delay scrambling. I don't know how much of it is true or not (she's kinda psycho), but if it's anywhere near true... Something else as well, I volunteered for a time at an Islamic center in Tampa (not muslim, just wanted to find out about Islam), and the head priest (not sure of what they are called), told me that the day before 9/11, he got a phone call from a cleric friend of his telling him not to fly the next day. He wasn't planning on going anywhere, but still. Again, this is just what he told me, I can't vouch for anyone's credibility, but all the same. Anyhow, Dylan, if you get the chance, hit me back on FB or on the forums. Later! |

First off, Welcome! Second, who stops watching TMNT? They're awesome! I haven't seen him post here in a while but I do have him as a friend on FB. That will be your best way to get in touch with him. |

He owes me a phone call at least... lol. He also watched me get hit by a truck, and me ripping the guy's grill of the front of his truck... lol, those were the days! |

I know his mom, too. She lived next door to my grandma's, my grandma stole her cat (her cat wandered over, and 'adopted' my grandma), and then they moved to NY. Meh, either way, Dylan is out being famous, his mom is sitting on a mountain top, and I'm stuck in Hickville Georgia. And noeffects, thank you! LMAO!!!! |
