I have to say they did do some good debunking, like Bernie says The demolition Van in the photo. However, they also do some piss poor debunking and the last half concentrated on showing the bloke who made it as some sort of nutter. One of the worst debunks was people asking why there was no damage to the bombers passports, there verdict, the experts (It doesn't mention which experts!) say the bombers left their passports somewhere safe, away from the bodies, so they could be identified? WTF!! The 7th July group declined to participate in the program. http://www.julyseventh.co.uk/j7-refuse-bbc-conspiracy-files-offer.html |

something's rotten with the system (bbc media in this instance) and its perpetuation of the muslim boogey man myth, considering especially - that "radical muslims" (allegedly) took credit for the london bombings "on their website": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_July_2005_London_bombings#Translated_statement while other muslim boogeymen (allegedly) took claim for it on video: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_July_2005_London_bombings#Claims_of_responsibility -it doesnt take a genius to see that like 9/11, even the "official story" version of the 7/7 events and who allegedly dunnit is full of holes. i dont get why they made such a big deal of who the mystery guy behind 7/7 RIPPLE EFFECT is. im 100000% positive i've seen him/heard him around before on the internet. just some nutty arab guy. but yes...good debunking. and although its quite obvious that peter power was always being a straight shooter (why the fuck would he go and expose his own conspiracy), its entirely possible that his "client" for that day was in on it. i still believe it was a gov plot...but less sure about it. |

Can you reference that statement? |

It is probably not wise referencing that statement on a public forum, however I will vouch for it being correct. Edit to add - the part about homemade explosives, I do not know for a fact if those substances were found in the bombers house. Edited by JFK, Jul 23 2009, 08:28 PM.

JFK, I meant - where is the definitive statement of the type of explosives used on 7/7? Because I can point to a number of differing media reports. |

As far as definative, I do not know. However... http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article544334.ece http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2006/may/07/theobserver.uknews http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=windows-1256&u=http%3A%2F%2Fpolitiken.dk%2Findland%2Farticle171600.ece&sl=auto&tl=en&history_state0= http://www.rsc.org/chemistryworld/News/2006/August/11080602.asp http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/08/17/flying_toilet_terror_labs/ http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1225453,00.html Edit to add - after rereading those ( and other ) articles it just occured to me that they are representing this as a relatively new explosive. It isn't. If anyone here is old enough to remember the "Hogan's Hero's" sitcom, it was this explosive which "Carter" kept blowing himself up with... And if you listen carefully the ingredients are mentioned across several episodes. Edited by JFK, Jul 24 2009, 12:19 AM.
