Did I just hear Alex say (4/3/08 show) that Ron Paul has been telling his delegates to vote for McCain? I've never heard of such a thing. I'm pretty much tired of Alex having and spreading such a defeatist attitude towards RP. |

he never had a defeatist attitude about the campaign until after super-tuesday... he's a realist, and the thing is, the campaign was effectively over at that point. I think alex has a point when he's said that trying to take delegates will only create the strawman that we are playing unfair and that the "ron paul supporters are stealing delegates". In the end, it won't help win an election. At this point, voting is just symbolic anyways. I'm going to write in RP regardless, to show that I am objecting to the status quo and refuse to allow the media to choose our president. I may only be one man, but by standing firm and voting for whom I please, I can be sure that I will remain a man. |

Your glorious Loose Change Forum dictator...

It seems AJ is semi-endorsing Obama now since he thinks he might be assassinated. |

AJ doesn't think that, that's just something Jesse Ventura said that AJ reported on. |

I think he's a complete slimeball. Why do you like him? Do you also hate free speech and love gun control?
It's true. But telling Republicans they should continue to vote Republican doesn't seem that big of a deal to me. I wish he would run as an independent with Jesse Ventura but I'm not going to get angry if it doesn't happen. The world keeps turning... Edited by Roxdog, Apr 7 2008, 12:48 PM.

everyone from outside of the patriot & truth movements, does not realize that Obama is an establishment candidate. Alex sees it. But he also knows that within the "establishment" there are different factions, and that two factions are fighting it out right now for the democratic ticket. that battle could result in Obama's assasination. it's a possibility, though I think it's a small one. everyone else thinks he'll be assisinated purely because he seems like he's not an establishment candidate (though he is) and face it, because he'd be the first black president, and people think someone will try to stop it. So yes, Obama COULD be killed, but not necessarily for the reasons most people assume. And Alex has said that Obama is the best of the three remaining choices, but that it is like "choosing from three latrines". At least, I'd say if I didn't know any better, I'd probably endorse Obama since he seems to have less shit on his latrine than the other two. Either way you slice it, there's a powerful elite who will count themselves "winners" in November. |

I don't see any assassination. His wife is a CFR member. I'm sure she will sell his soul long before he can catch it. |
