![]() This is an image from aal77.com. According to airliners.net, the serial numer of AA77 is 24602/365. I cannot detect this number on the debris, only other numerals(?). |

24602 is the Boeing construction number. 365 is the Boeing line number. This appears to be the FAA registration number (at least in part), which is N644AA. Shame about the image quality but I am still fairly confident. The double 4 and one A are pretty clear. The N6 is obscured by a crease in the metal but you can still vaguely make it out. Hope this helps. |

I don't see the N6. Even the alleged '144A' is not definitive, the A looks like something else is written over/under it, and the fours look like they used to be ones. Just my 2 cents.
