I want to start by saying that the following is stated with the utmost respect for the mods and the admin for this site. i love this site and the fact that I can talk about 911 with fellow believers. I have an idea that I want to share. I started a thread when I first joined called "So what can i do?" I got no response and I now know why. I reread my post and it sounded kinda stupid. I should already know what I should be doing, but Im not as educated as most on this forum I would guess. Im not very politically knowledgeable either. I recently applied and was approved to be a member of Scholars For 9/11 Truth & Justice. I wouldn't say I'm a yes man or a follower necessarily but I'm really not the leader type. I have searched around the net and there really isnt much, some but not much, info for the 911-truth-novice. Plus now that i've watched the documentary's and read a lot of documents, I feel that I want to do something. Reading, watching, learning is great but it doesn't actually do anything. Talking about it doesn't seem to accomplish much either. My suggestion is having a front page topic/thread in the newbies area dedicated to things that a regular joe like me can do. People you can contact, emails you can send, handouts you can print out or something of the like. 911 demonstrations, talks, or events searchable by area maybe. Recommended viewing and reading materials for the novice, etc. Like I said, this is posted with the utmost respect for the mods. I assume you already thought of this and have a reason for not having such a thing. Also, Im unfortunately getting into the 911 Truth Movement at the tail end of it I am now realizing. Maybe I'm wrong and I hope I am. I hope this is not true but it doesn't seem like much is being done anymore. The administration is too powerful. The fear for your own safety if you get your hands too dirty. Beaten beyond recognition. Another sad thing that I experienced lately. I work at a company that has over 200 employees and started a thread on our internal forum entitled "Anyone Involved in the 911 Truth Movement?" It went as follows "I have recently become interested in the 911 truth movement and have become a member of the Scholars For 9/11 Truth & Justice. If anyone else is interested in this, let me know." Everyone in the company reads it daily and to my surprise i got no response at all and its been up for over a week. The few people that i talked to about it, basically laughed at me. One guy actually said "you shouldn't get into that conspiracy theory stuff, it'll rot your brain". I asked a co-worker about 911 and we got to the Commission and she said "there was no problem with the 911 commission, there just wasn't enough evidence to prove anything" And these were some of the better responses! |

There are several truth websites you can download flyers from to hand out to people on the streets. You can go to meetup.com and see if there is a 9/11 group near you. You can email or send out letters from Architects and Engineers to architectural and engineering firms. I'm currently working on a simple flyer for Firefighters for 9/11 Truth that people can print out and hand out to their local fire departments and firefighters. |

This is the way I see it. Somebody's broken into my house, and they're trying to take everything I've got. What would you do? I think you'd probably pull the kitchen sink right out of the counter and throw it at them, and you'd keep doing stuff like that untill they were well dispatched. That's what I'm doing. I don't know what you should do exactly, but here is my best guess. I say first, figure out what you want to do and can do in regards to this matter. Second, do it with all your heart and never give up. Third, tell me what I can do to support you. That'll be my chance to show you who I am and what I can do. My friend, your best chance in a fight with anyone or anything is to jump in with everything you've got. There's no hesitation. There's no holding back. You don't worry about how strong the opponnent is. You don't worry about what anyone else is doing. You don't worry about winning or losing. There's only the fight and the love of the fight. Watch a pit bull go at it sometime. That's the way to do it. Use your mind the way a pit bull uses his jaws. I found out about this 1 year ago. Here are my two of my efforts. These are just the tip of the iceburg on what I'm doing though. Both these sites are getting pretty visible. Artsits for 9/11 Truth If your an artist, great. Please join. If your not, scratch 9/11 Truth onto a piece of paper, sign it, scan it in, and send me the .jpeg. We'll put that up in combination with this post. Also, member Dave Felipe lives in Manhattan. I'm sure he'd love to hear from you. Tell him I sent you. 9/11 Truther Cyberzine Send me an article. I'll put it up. Why was the Rope-a-dope so great? I think it was so important because Ali invented it specifically for his situation with Frazier. He wasn't fighting the appropriate fight for 10 years earlier. He wasn't fighting from ego. He figured the situation out. He invented a solution. That's a great fight and a great fighter. That is the possibility and necessity of our situation as well. Let's do it. Jarett, you'll never be alone as long as I'm alive. If I can be in this fight from a possible afterlife, count me in. Zeus Hanging YouTubeDirect Edited by Paul Tassopulos, Feb 4 2009, 02:49 PM.

That's all you got for me!? After I take the time to address you and offer you my support and connections?! When I could have been doing a million other things?! That's a disgrace your going to have to live with the rest of your life. I recommend not doing too many more things like that. I recommend rethinking your approach. Sir, the situation is a creature. It is neither good nor bad. It's nature is determined by how you use it. Now, snap out of it! Personally, I don't want your help anymore but I still need it. A lot of other people do too. hey, paul! um, i have no idea what your talking about. i read your response a few times and still dont get it. well, what i do know is that you definitely misunderstood my comment. let me rephrase. what i meant by my comment was how unbelievable it is that every time (not most of the time but every time) i have approached anyone and tried to start a conversation about 911, they look at me like i just threw up on their shoes. seriously! its obvious on their face that they would rather have a root-canal than talk about it. its amazing to me how turned off people immediately get whenever you even mention it. they look at you like your nuts. it makes me angry and frustrated, hence my comment. i meant no disrespect. my comment was a little NC-17 i guess. ill try to be a little more PG-13. am i alone or does it feel like the whole world is crazy? |

When I approach the subject with "newbies" I tend to ask questions and let them do the answering. Depending upon their level of "enlightenment" I can usually see the "lightbulb" light in an average of about 20 minutes.... Accompanied with the usual "Jawdrop" of realization. That is when I hand out the copy of a DVD, Usually LC2ER, If they have an internet connection I will also point them at a website or two. The questions are "tailored" to the individuals interests/comprehension of the events of 911. 15-20% are totally brainwashed, but even with them you can see "the wheels turning" or smell the "smoke" of thought. LOL Many retired military people already "know", but do not want to talk about it out of fear/shame. |

exactly my point. with me its more like 100% are brainwashed. im not attacking these people or forcing my views on them either. they're not strangers or flagwavers and i dont think ANY of them voted for bush. ive known all of them for a long time. just casual convo like "hey, what do you think about the official story about 911?" and their usually like "er uh whaddya mean?". and its always downhill from there. my wife is a believer. she turned her friend, but i have turned noone. my parents even think im nuts. you wanna grab them and be like "WHATS WRONG WITH YOU, ARE YOU BLIND???!!!" but you cant... |

Well, I suggest you pick your "favorite" anonomoly of the events surrounding 911 and instead of asking what they think about the official story, ask for example "What do you think of Steven Hatfill being awarded almost 6 million dollars in damages and being cleared of all charges in the anthrax attacks after 911 ? Who do you think did it ?" That plants the seed. For some reason people get turned off when 911 and "official story" are used in the same sentence. |

Jarett, it's cool. Forgive me. We're all under a lot of stress on this one. That includes me and you. I've got a good feeling about you. I think your going to have a profoundly positive effect on this whole situation. Can't wait to see how you do it. Your friend, Paul. Edited by Paul Tassopulos, Feb 5 2009, 05:14 PM.
