How To Prove It Was An Inside Job

I had this idea and maybe it's already been thought of but why don't we re-create the world trade center -exactly to spec- in a remote area and have the same model of planes remote controlled into the buildings at the exact same speed and angles and same amount of fuel and see what happens. Wouldn't this help? Obviously it would cost a great amount but the truth is priceless.

Hi Dirtysoap,

If there was a new investigation, I think there would have to be a percentage of funding investigating how the towers collapsed by modelling them...etc etc.

The problem is funding as it would cost a lot to develop a reasonable model that could be used.

Maybe if enough Mystbuster fans get together and write to the show, maybe they will do it, but probably not.

Just in case the results confirmed it was probably done by a demolition.

Cheers

It really doesn't have to be that elaborate or expensive.

A good preliminary test would only require a 3 story model.

The first floor would be undamaged.

The second floor would recreate the physical damage comparable to what was likely to have existed as a result of the original aircraft impact.

The third floor would have a weight comparable to one of the WTC's upper sections, properly distributed across it's surface.

At this point fire testing could begin to see if a collapse initiation could be achieved and whether a complete floor D R O P of sufficient velocity to lead to an overwhelming cascading collapse would result.

This has to be made to occur in the same time frame that existed for the Towers.

If by chance, this preliminary test came anywhere close to supporting NIST's view of the Official Story, a more elaborate test to determine whether the upper section would quickly breakup and arrest a progressive collapse would be required.

IMHO of course.

NIST has provided an explanation about the liquid flowing from the south tower before its collapse:

http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=OmuzyWC60eE

See: "National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Federal Building and Fire Safety Investigation of the World Trade Center Disaster - Answers to Frequently Asked Questions (August 30, 2006)":

http://wtc.nist.gov/pubs/factsheets/faqs_8_2006.htm

Quote:

"Why do some photographs show a yellow stream of molten metal pouring down the side of WTC2 that NIST claims was aluminum from the crashed plane although aluminum burns with a white glow?

NIST reported (NCSTAR 1-5A) that just before 9:52 a.m., a bright spot appeared at the top of a window on the 80th floor of WTC 2, four windows removed from the east edge on the north face, followed by the flow of a glowing liquid. This flow lasted approximately four seconds before subsiding. Many such liquid flows were observed from near this location in the seven minutes leading up to the collapse of this tower. There is no evidence of similar molten liquid pouring out from another location in WTC 2 or from anywhere within WTC 1.

Photographs, and NIST simulations of the aircraft impact, show large piles of debris in the 80th and 81st floors of WTC 2 near the site where the glowing liquid eventually appeared. Much of this debris came from the aircraft itself and from the office furnishings that the aircraft pushed forward as it tunneled to this far end of the building. Large fires developed on these piles shortly after the aircraft impact and continued to burn in the area until the tower collapsed.

NIST concluded that the source of the molten material was aluminum alloys from the aircraft, since these are known to melt between 475 degrees Celsius and 640 degrees Celsius (depending on the particular alloy), well below the expected temperatures (about 1,000 degrees Celsius) in the vicinity of the fires. Aluminum is not expected to ignite at normal fire temperatures and there is no visual indication that the material flowing from the tower was burning.

Pure liquid aluminum would be expected to appear silvery. However, the molten metal was very likely mixed with large amounts of hot, partially burned, solid organic materials (e.g., furniture, carpets, partitions and computers) which can display an orange glow, much like logs burning in a fireplace. The apparent color also would have been affected by slag formation on the surface."

Some researchers believe that this explanation is false:

http://www.journalof911studies.com/volume/200704/JonesWTC911SciMethod.pdf

It would be easy to demonstrate experimentally if this NISTexplanation is true or false.

There was a video of someone from NIST trying to create the "Glowing Aluminium" somewhere on youtube. I can't find it but I'm sure one of the forum members can.

Its showed some scientist from NIST melting aluminium and adding paper, carpet and bits and pieces....it didn't work.

Its a shame I can't find it...:( It

Hi "Stundie". Here is the video: "A assistant Professor had come from NIST and thought there must be a way to get the ash to mix in and to get a yellow-orange-glow while flowing in daylight conditions. Despite all his efforts, he could not get the mix to glow orange when poured out in daylight conditions:

What a superstar. Cheers French St! ;)

A prime example of how NIST failed.
