Posts: 211 Group: Members Member #578 Joined: 05/16/08	A few years ago I was in the Gaza Strip with my girlfriend (who was doing work for Doctors Without Borders), and was caught in the middle of an Israeli-Palestinian gunfight. You know what knowledge I came away with? Both sides are at fault for the current situation, but the Palestinians are a fucked people. Why? The Palestinian gunmen were using their children as human shields. As the IDF advanced, the kids would throw bottles and rocks while their fathers/brothers/whomever fired over their heads at the soldiers. Also, I can't quite tell how old many of the gunmen were (as they wore head coverings), but from their height I would guess some of them may have be prepubescent. All of the Israeli soldiers were adults. If you wonder why they're pointing guns at seemingly unarmed children, go read up on child suicide bombers. It might not be the kids fault that they're strapped with explosives, but they're dangerous to other innocents none the less.
