i'm not entirely sure if they were faked, but If they wanted to, they could have tapped the phone calls of these people in advance, picked up nicknames, relatives names to use when the fake call is placed, to make it sound convincing. It's very easy to do when you have the intelligence apparatus involved. there was a thread where it was discussed in length on the old forum, but I really couldn't locate it without a search function. |
