After the oil fields, Babylon was the first major prize captured by New World Order invading military forces. They even bypassed a multitude of rich Iraqi Military ammo storage dumps; leaving them to their enemies so they could build lots of powerful IED devices to kill US soldiers with. The capture of Babylon was much more important than saving lives and winning a war.

No, Obama has no interest in justice for a mere 3000 innocent victims.

They are of no importance at all.

Babylon 04/25/2004

Several hours north is the crown jewel of Iraqi sites, Babylon, home to the world’s first complete legal text, the Code of Hammurabi, and to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Hanging Gardens. In 586 B.C.E., Nebuchadnezzar burned Jerusalem and exiled the Israelites to this river city.

Modern-day Babylon is different from Ur. For starters, it’s located inside a coalition base, with satellite trucks, mess halls and a buzz of troops. Noting that the Tower of Babel was built here—which resulted in God destroying the building and creating many languages—Major Dezso Kiss of Hungary observed that the soldiers who are now here communicate in one language: English. “The Tower has finally been built,” he said.

Firstly please explain what exactly they plan to do with Babylon? Build a new tower?

If the US was in Iraq for the oil, why not directly blame 9-11 on Iraq. Why even bother going after Iraqi oil, when they could get oil from the Athabasca Oil Sands in Canada, very easily through the NAFTA? Do you know how much oil there is in Athabasca?

Well, with modern unconventional oil production technology, at least 10% of these deposits, or about 170 billion barrels (27×10^9 m3) were considered to be economically recoverable at 2006 prices, making Canada's total oil reserves the second largest in the world, after Saudi Arabia's.

Interisting. Surely its easier to invest in those oil fields, in a much friendlier country, where access would be easier and closer? No need for a costly war in Iraq. Just spend money on devoloping infrastructure to tap the oil in Canada. Closer, easier, safer and cheaper.

Where does Iraq's oil go to? Well the Iraqi Oil ministry site details the exports. http://www.oil.gov.iq/EXPORT%20CAPACITIES.php

Countries listed are: Italy, India, UK, USA, Russia, China, Jordan, Spain, Japan, Brazil, South Korea, Morroca, Turkey and France.

Sounds strange. I thought the US would keep it all for themselves.
