BTW, when they say that a building is designed to hold up to 130 MPH winds, it means the ENTIRE building.

Take this into consideration. My house is designed for 140 MPH winds. It has withstood 120 mph winds not too long ago (Hurricane Charley) and it survived fairly well. But, if a jet crashed into it, would the jet not hurt my house?? Yes, it would. Because a building is designed to spread a load over a large area. Its called "Sheer".

While a building can withstand a hurricane, if we were to focus the entire potential energy of a hurricane on one small section of a house, it will not withstand it. Same with WTCs.
