I didn't even know who pdoherty was. He later joined the SLC Forum and apologised, but he's not to blame as he isn't the one who banned me. And for the last time, I do not know who banned me over at the JREF forum and neither do I care. As I've said, it was just an excuse to stop me from making your favourite debunker Gravy look silly, not that he needs any help. I've seen exactly how the debunkers and even the mods operate over there with their groupthink and as for JREF forum being (I'm going to refrain from laugh so hard here!") "a place to skepticism, critical thinking and debate etc etc in a friendly way". Nothing could be further from the truth. Its without a doubt the total opposite with members using the most blatant pseudo skeptisims, excuses, unsubstantiated claims and even lies to find out about 9/11. I did a little digging on your ban: You were banned for being a sock of Pdoherty76 on 11/29/2006. Timeline: 10/15/2006 - Pdoherty76 registers on JREF 10/15/2006 - 11/21/2006 - Pdoherty76 makes 571 posts to the Conspiracy theory forums at JREF. 11/21/2006 - Pdoherty76 was suspended on for multiple breaches of his membership agreement. 11/21/2006 - Pdoherty76 registers another user account in an attempt to circumvent his suspension, resulting in the immediate ban of both accounts. 11/21/2006 - Stundie registers an account on the JREF forums. 11/22/2006 - 11/29/2006 - Stundie makes 145 posts, mostly in the conspiracy theories forum. 11/29/2006 - Stundie is banned for being a sock of pdoherty76. So, to piece it all together: - Pdoherty76 had already shown that he would attempt to create other accounts to get around his loss of access - Your account was created on the very same day, after the above actions took place - Your posting style and arguments were very similar to that of pdoherty76 - Your posting frequency was high (approx 20 posts/day) & similar to pdoherty76 - Multiple users suspected that you were a sock of pdoh - Moderators researched and made the same determination. My current observations: - You claim "I didn't even know who pdoherty was" seems suspect. - Your posting behavior on SLC was also very similar to that of Pdoherty - When pdoh was banned at SLC, you stopped posting for a period of time. Based on all of that, I'm not surprised that the moderators did what they did. (I would have done it too). Unfortunately, at JREF a ban is permanent (unless you can show that they had incorrect information when they banned you). If you would like to plead your case, you may do so to their moderators. If not, I guess you'll just have to stick to posting here & at SLC. The moderators at JREF do their best to apply the rules evenly. Even skeptics get warned, suspended, etc, which wouldn't happen if everyone there suffered from "groupthink" as you assert. And as far as gravy goes...trust me...you never made him look bad
