The more reasonable scenario would be - If they lied about how it came down, is anyone gonna buy where it came down (if the lie regarding the impact scene is maintained). It opens up a whole new level of skepticism from the half-interested masses regarding the whole story. If it comes out it would be devastating to the ENTIRE official story...IMO
