Well, there were two sets of charges, one on the 13th floor and one at the 5th/6th floor (core columns), the 5/6th floors were mechanical ones........they conducted test fires long before the final demoltion, to see how the structure will behave ( noise, damage, structural damage), they've probably synchronized some of the test fires with the WTC1+2 collapses (but maybe not.....) the fact remains: he survived one of these test fires, so he had to die
