I want to start by saying that the following is stated with the utmost respect for the mods and the admin for this site. i love this site and the fact that I can talk about 911 with fellow believers. I have an idea that I want to share. I started a thread when I first joined called "So what can i do?" I got no response and I now know why. I reread my post and it sounded kinda stupid. I should already know what I should be doing, but Im not as educated as most on this forum I would guess. Im not very politically knowledgeable either. I recently applied and was approved to be a member of Scholars For 9/11 Truth & Justice. I wouldn't say I'm a yes man or a follower necessarily but I'm really not the leader type. I have searched around the net and there really isnt much, some but not much, info for the 911-truth-novice. Plus now that i've watched the documentary's and read a lot of documents, I feel that I want to do something. Reading, watching, learning is great but it doesn't actually do anything. Talking about it doesn't seem to accomplish much either. My suggestion is having a front page topic/thread in the newbies area dedicated to things that a regular joe like me can do. People you can contact, emails you can send, handouts you can print out or something of the like. 911 demonstrations, talks, or events searchable by area maybe. Recommended viewing and reading materials for the novice, etc. Like I said, this is posted with the utmost respect for the mods. I assume you already thought of this and have a reason for not having such a thing. Also, Im unfortunately getting into the 911 Truth Movement at the tail end of it I am now realizing. Maybe I'm wrong and I hope I am. I hope this is not true but it doesn't seem like much is being done anymore. The administration is too powerful. The fear for your own safety if you get your hands too dirty. Beaten beyond recognition. Another sad thing that I experienced lately. I work at a company that has over 200 employees and started a thread on our internal forum entitled "Anyone Involved in the 911 Truth Movement?" It went as follows "I have recently become interested in the 911 truth movement and have become a member of the Scholars For 9/11 Truth & Justice. If anyone else is interested in this, let me know." Everyone in the company reads it daily and to my surprise i got no response at all and its been up for over a week. The few people that i talked to about it, basically laughed at me. One guy actually said "you shouldn't get into that conspiracy theory stuff, it'll rot your brain". I asked a co-worker about 911 and we got to the Commission and she said "there was no problem with the 911 commission, there just wasn't enough evidence to prove anything" And these were some of the better responses! |
