Is the hardcopy information regarding the plane itself under federal custody? When a plane crashes don't those sort of things become the jurisdiction of the NTSB and open to public review? Usually, but not on 9/11. On 9/12/01, the US Military showed up at Boeing in Seattle, WA, confiscated all their records for the four planes and shut down their part of the investigation.
