mynameis, you do know what the following picture shows?![]() This is what every core column was standing on in the bedrock. There was no concrete anywhere in the towers except the floors. You would have to realize how heavy the buildings would be if there were concrete in every column from top to bottom. Or even some of the columns, for that matter. They had to use a special light-weight concrete mix for the floors to keep the weight down.
