A hollow structural section of reinforced steel over concrete. Each column is laden w/o fireproofing. ![]() Tubular structure carrying vertical loads to prevent compressive stress from above. Each section is locked into place through steel welds? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollow_structural_section Here are pictures of the core columns. Assuming either pre-fab core column or assembled and poured up top, the steel bent. How much steel is bent and where is this section located on the blue print schematics? Are there studies for fires and hollow structural sections and fires w/o firepoofing? ![]() ![]() |
