My point, MM, is that you have zero knowledge of whether there were shear studs on the relevant girders or not. You are making a categorical statement based on some modifications to a report. There either were studs or there weren't, but either case is possible from an engineering standpoint. As for the report, it was probably worked on by different engineers in 2004 and 2008, each of whom would have their own way of expressing things. A couple of minor modifications to a report are meaningless without proof that they actually misrepresented the details of the structure. |
