A few comments about the Hani Hanjour Reloaded post. A Washington post reporter claims sources say the plane was flown with “extraordinary skill, blah blah blah”, but the sources are never identified. An unidentified source is just as good as no source at all. Anyone (one of those unidentified sources) who describes flight 77 as “virtually a textbook turn and landing” is not so bright. Airliners do not approach and land at the speeds flight 77 was flying. CDR Kolstad is critical of the 9/11 events, but he is so blind that he asks, “Where are the steel engine parts? Where is the steel landing gear?” Has he never surfed the internet or performed the least amount of research? His statements are not credible in the least. CDR Muga’s statements are equally dubious. A high speed stall is not going to occur when the nose is pushed down to lose altitude. I guess he also conveniently forgot that flight crews typically did not resist the hijackers prior to 9/11. |
