foobar2000 How to Convert FLAC to 320 kb/s CBR MP3

foobar2000 is a free easy to use media player, for the Microsoft Windows Platform and can be used for many useful functions, including MP3 conversion.
By default, the highest conversion for foobar2000 is 190kbps VBR encoding. With the addition of the LAME MP3 Encoder and the iconv binary found in libiconv.

Download and install

Download and install foobar2000 available for download here: hXXp://www.foobar2000.org/

Download the LAME MP3 encoder (lame3.97.zip): hXXp://www.rarewares.org/mp3.html
Then unzip “lame3.97.zip” and place both “lame.exe” and “lame_enc.dll” in the installation directory of foobar2000, by default at…
C:\Program Files\foobar2000

Download the libiconv converter (libiconv-1.9.1.bin.woe32.zip): hXXp://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=25167&package_id=5
Then unzip “libiconv-1.9.1.bin.woe32.zip”. In the unzipped file, open the Bin folder and place “charset.dll”, “iconv.dll” and “iconv.exe” in the installation directory of foobar2000, by default at C:\Program Files\foobar2000

Navigate to foobar2000 > File > Preferences (Ctrl+P) > Tools > Converter
