I don't think Obama would know his left foot from the right. If his M16 ever went bang he would have to call Hillary to step and fight for him!

Can you imagine being in a foxhole with him? Can you imagine what it would feel like for him to (supposedly) have your back? Talk about him throwing people under the bus!!

Scary!!!!!!

The bottom line is you either joined the military or you didn't. He isn't fooling anyone who served in the Military

Okay, Obama never said anything in either of his lengthy memoirs about wanting to join the military. He registered for Selective Services in 1980 while a student at Occidental.

Well Baldo you are right, I joined in 1969 and did 4 years on active duty then the reserves for 26 years, President Clinton signed my retirement certificate. This is just another out and out lie by Obama. Just a note for Tidbits, the Viet Nam War didn't officially end until 1975, I think Obama was 12 by then.
Obama could have joined during the 1st Gulf war, I didn't see him running to a recruiter, he was running to Bill Ayers house asking for his support for a run for the state senate.
Out of college he could have joined any service and began as a JAG lawyer no officer training required, except for the Marine, they make you go to OCS and Basic School. Where was he when we needed him defending terrorist captors?

I enlisted in June of 1990, was on the DEP until Jan 1991, then served 4 years of active duty. I was an "old man in BCT". 23 and turned 24 during.

It wasn't much of a birthday party...

Happy belated birthday, and thank you very much for your service.

My family and I appreciate it.
