I love Chrissy Matthew's comment that not once during Sarah Palin's speech did he think of Hillary. I didn't either.

With regard to Cindy McCain, I think she looks a lot softer with her hair down, as it was last night.
How many face lifts?

She looked perfect for the purpose and position. She has girl-next-door beauty. She's not too high-maintenance looking. Cindy McCain wouldn't be able to pull it off. She's too pretty in a high-class kind of way. Unapproachable kind of pretty. Sarah Palin has a real wholesome, down-to-earth beauty that I think will draw people in. Obviously, given the comments above, she has a beauty appealling to both men and women.
Greg you are so right. Liked your choice of words "not high maintenance". Did anyone notice her beautiful complexion? My mother used to call it a "peaches and cream complexion". Reminds me of the old Ivory Soap commericials of years ago.

She looked femine, but strong. A winning combination. Hopefully Joe continues his long winded pontificating for the cameras at the vp debates. Aren't they soon? Wish I could get a ticket.
I'd love to be there also but would probably get arrested for disorderly conduct when the "blowhard" starts to attack Sarah. Biden looks like some loud mouth you would meet in a bar. She is going to draw a very compelling contrast.

That's probably the only nice thing he said.

I didn't see it. Hope it was a delegate from Ohio giving a left hook to someone from MSNBC.

It was someone from Code Pink trying to get to the podium.

Thanks Buddy. Just found this.

Police said two protesters were removed during Palin's speech. They said they were members of the anti-war group Code Pink. A representative for the Joint Information Center said the two women were escorted by law enforcement officers from the Xcel Center for heckling.

They stood and yelled off to the side of the podium during Palin's speech. They were not charged and have been "sent on their way," this representative said

Love the pic from the Rocky Mt News but I love the headline from the Chicago paper:

"Hockey Mom Shoots, Scores"

The lipstick thing really gets to me . I remember the ad a few years back where Schwab started airing a set of TV spots that pointed up the conflicts of interest of Wall Street firms that cater to both individual investors and corporate clients. The most controversial depicted a sales manager at an unidentified brokerage firm exhorting his troops to sell the stock du jour.

''Let's put some lipstick on this pig,'' the manager tells them.

It was funny cause it was so true.

You could see one large heckler climbing the step being escorted out. As the view was from the rear, the Alaska deleegation could easily have mistaken her for a MOOSE.
