I thought Sarah looked great last night. Glad she wasn't wearing red--there was enough of it. Her two piece outfit with contrasting colors, black on bottom was elegant. Also liked the way she did her hair. You can do that style yourself. Glad she didn't wear it up last night cause while it makes her look older, it can look school momish. Her hair is a pretty color and shiny, Just the right shade of lipstick for the hockey mom. Her face really sparkles.

She looked amazing. Professional, elegant, yet wholesome. She is a beautiful woman.

Anyone who doesn't think appearances count is crazy. Well, women know better.

Watching her on the stage surrounded by her family (including Bristol and Levi) and holding the baby, she looked like the perfect spokesperson for family values. Family values is not about whether your kid got pregnant.

Definition of Family Values: To have a sense of Family Values is to have good thoughts, good intentions and good deeds, to love and to care for those whom we are close to and are part of our primary social group, our community, such as children, parents, other family members and friends. And to treat others with the same set of values, the same way we wish to be treated.

Doesn't that definition of family values soun like Sarah? We need someone like Sarah in Washington.

I thought she looked great, too, Brittany. I liked the jacket and black skirt- simple and elegant. A serious outfit for a serious candidate. She has great eyes and she is very expressive with them. Because the outfit wasn't a distraction, I focused on her face.

If you didn't see it (I saw it on another network), there was a GREAT shot of Piper Palin holding the baby and trying to get his hair to stay in place- so she was licking her hand and fixing Trig's hair. It was too cute. Reminded me of all the times I'd lick my fingers and try to remove something from one of my kids' faces. I'm surprised someone in the media hasn't talked about the practice not being hygenic!

The whole family looked great- and very appropriate and authentic.

Also, did you see Cindy McCain holding him at one point? You can always tell a real mom by the "baby jiggle" that real moms do- just a constant small motion to keep the baby happy. We don't even know we're doing it- just a natural motion when you hold a baby. (Unless your kids have been raised by nannies and you don't have a clue how to handle a baby!)

Yes all cute. The democrats will say the baby is a prop. Well, boy do they wish they had one. Had to find one with all those abortions.

They used to tell us that when you hit 40 you had to cut your hair. I'm glad that's no longer the case and I think Sarah looked great last night.

People are talking about her hair. Hair does matter in election!

When was the last time we saw a female politician on the national stage NOT wearing a pantsuit?

I'm serious, folks. You can't attack (as easily) a woman wearing a skirt. Joe Biden is going to have to be verrry careful in his debates with Sarah Palin. You better not give any perception that you're beating up on a woman. Even in Hillary Clinton's case, we heard about the perception that the Republican candidate violated her personal space in the first debate when she ran for Senate in NY. All I can say is you better walk a fine line, Joe. I'll bet the same thing will apply to the media. Beat her up and you'll only make the people admire her more.

She looked femine, but strong. A winning combination. Hopefully Joe continues his long winded pontificating for the cameras at the vp debates. Aren't they soon? Wish I could get a ticket.

She looked perfect for the purpose and position. She has girl-next-door beauty. She's not too high-maintenance looking. Cindy McCain wouldn't be able to pull it off. She's too pretty in a high-class kind of way. Unapproachable kind of pretty. Sarah Palin has a real wholesome, down-to-earth beauty that I think will draw people in. Obviously, given the comments above, she has a beauty appealling to both men and women.

With regard to Cindy McCain, I think she looks a lot softer with her hair down, as it was last night.
