Her remarks yesterday about Palin were offensive. How can you have a job and have 5 kids and lack of experience although she is a governor and Commander in Chief of Alaska National Guard?

I sent this email off today to CNN, Campbell Brown and Wolf Blitzer. .Haven't written one in a long time which means I am really mad.

Get Campbell Brown off CNN. We expect broadcasters to at least PRETEND to be objective. What you said about Gov.Palin yesterday was offensive to her and all women. You should be ashamed. Women before you worked and raised families so you could be sitting in the chair you are today.

Get another job, lady before they fire you.

Glad to learn McCain cancelled his appearance on CNN thanks to your big, offensive mouth.

Plus you are not even goodlooking enough to be a broadcaster.

Is Alma Dale's father fair game?

James Harvey "Jim" Brown, Jr. (born May 6, 1940), is a political consultant and commentator based in Baton Rouge long active in Louisiana Democratic politics. In 1972, he was elected to both the Louisiana state Senate, to which he served two terms, and to the 1973 Constitutional Convention. He was secretary of state from 1980-1988, and he ran unsuccessfully for governor in the 1987 jungle primary. He was elected insurance commissioner in 1991 and served until his resignation in October 2000. Brown's political career closed with a six-month prison sentence for lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about the status of an insurance company. He has since, like the late Richard M. Nixon after Watergate, sought to redeem himself politically. His 2004 book entitled Justice Denied: How the Federal Justice System Failed Former Insurance Commissioner Jim Brown seeks to refute the charges of which he was convicted in federal court and to rehabilitate his reputation. Brown was barred from practicing law until at least the end of 2006.

Brown's daughter, Campbell Brown (born June 14, 1968), is a CNN news anchor and former co-anchor of NBC's Weekend Today and a former network White House correspondent and is married to Daniel Samuel "Dan" Senor (born 1971), a Republican political consultant to President George W. Bush Administration who appears regularly on Fox News in Washington, D.C.

.
Campbell Brown is an idiot.

All these people come from the same camp.

Someone needed to write them. There's not an iota's worth of difference between Brown, David Gregory, and Andrea Mitchell.

They all hail from the same factories.

Sen. Biden’s Daughter Arrested in Altercation
August 04, 2002 in print edition A-15

The daughter of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a police officer outside a Chicago bar.

Ashley Blazer Biden, 21, of Wilmington, Del., was with a group of people on a North Side street where several bars are located when someone else threw a bottle at an officer, police said.

When police tried to arrest another person, Biden blocked the officer’s path and made intimidating statements, officer JoAnn Taylor said.

Biden was later released and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 20.

Sen. Biden’s spokeswoman, Margaret Aitken, declined to comment, calling it a private, family matter.

How can someone be a commuting single parent, lack experience, and decide to "try" the Senate?

http://capitalnews9.com/content/politics/122724/biden-has-cny-connections/Default.aspx

Joe Biden had won at 29, turning 30, the minimum age for a Senator, just weeks before taking office. It was a time of celebration. But the path was about to turn very dark.

Just before Christmas, while Biden prepared to take office, a car carrying Neilia and the couple's three children was struck by a tractor trailer. Neilia and the couple's young daughter, Amy, were killed.

“I rode down to Delaware with my mom and dad and my brother and sister and it was not a good experience. It was very difficult,” said Parcells.

Biden's two sons were seriously hurt. He was ready to give up his new Senate seat but, as he wrote in his autobiography, "Bad things happen. Millions of people had it worse than me. Get up and keep moving, I kept telling myself and be alive."

He decided to "try" the senate and was sworn in at the bedside of his injured sons.

Biden's Son, Brother Named in Two Suits

By Kimberly Kindy and Joe Stephens
Washington Post Staff Writers
Sunday, August 24, 2008; Page A09

A son and a brother of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) are accused in two lawsuits of defrauding a former business partner and an investor of millions of dollars in a hedge fund deal that went sour, court records show.

The Democratic vice presidential candidate's son Hunter, 38, and brother James, 59, assert instead that their former partner defrauded them by misrepresenting his experience in the hedge fund industry and recommending that they hire a lawyer with felony convictions.

The legal actions have been playing out in New York State Supreme Court since 2007, and they focus on Hunter and James Biden's involvement in Paradigm Companies LLC, a hedge fund group. Hunter Biden, a Washington lobbyist, briefly served as president of the firm.

Hunter Biden was made president with an annual salary of $1.2 million, despite his inexperience in the hedge fund industry, the lawsuit said.

Biden 's Mississippi connection provides grist for McCain's mill

Hattiesburg American (MS) - August 24, 2008
Author: THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

WASHINGTON — In August 2007, three men who later became entangled in a Mississippi bribery scheme raised money for Sen. Joe Biden 's run for president.

A month later, two of the three were overheard in a phone call recorded by the FBI discussing federal legislation and a prospective meeting with Biden 's brother, Jim .

(snip)

The overheard conversation between attorney Timothy Balducci and former Mississippi State Auditor Steve Patterson was recorded in September 2007 while the FBI was investigating a bribery scheme that toppled Scruggs, Mississippi's most prominent lawyer.

Balducci tells Patterson at one point in the cryptic conversation that he was told "we really need to push on the Senate bill" and "get your man in line in the House if this comes out of the Senate," according to the transcript.

On the tape, Balducci says he had spoken by phone to Jim Biden, Sen. Biden's brother, "and we're gonna meet the Bidens around noon," according to the transcript.

Balducci said they would "meet with the black farmers at three."

Around the time of the tape-recorded call, Biden and other lawmakers, including Obama, were pushing legislation to give thousands of black farmers a chance to seek compensation if they were denied loans or crop subsidies by the U.S. Department of Agriculture because of their race.

In December 2007, the Senate passed a farm bill that included language to help the farmers seek compensation if they missed out on an earlier settlement with the Agriculture Department in 1999.

Patterson's attorney, Hiram Eastland Jr., says that Patterson did not have any conversations with Joe Biden about any of the black farmers and that Patterson "never asked Jim Biden to work on anything."

Eastland said Patterson may have had limited conversation with Jim Biden because Patterson and Balducci were trying to open a consulting firm in Washington.

Is this complaint about Campbell Brown over her sparring with Tucker Bounds over Palin as Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard? I saw that interview and saw nothing offensive about it. Bounds was making a ludicrous claim that Palin's role as Governor and in charge of the Alaska National Guard gave her military command experience. IIRC Reagan and Bill Clinton also made that dubious claim when they were first running for President. It is as silly now as it was then. Brown asked Bounds to tell her one decision Palin had made regarding the Alaska National Guard. He couldn't do it and she persisted in asking the question. CNN did note later in the evening in discussing McCain's cancellation of the King interview that Palin had ordered the National Guard in on a few forest fires. No great loss on the King interview anyway, since Larry King is completely incapable of asking anyone a hard question. All the interviews I've seen him do are puff pieces.

After a long absence I thought I would check back in to see how you guys and gals were reacting to the political stuff. Looks like all the moderate voices have left the building. I've just looked around a bit and it seems like you guys are only interested in debunking the B.S. of Dems and liberals OK, you're among friends and it is fun to bash the opposition.

I did find it amusing to note that many of the posters here think the Palin choice makes McCain a shoo-in to win, particulary amusing because when I look at the libs' boards they think the Palin choice will give the election to Obama in a walk. Somebody is delusional; probably both.

Is this supposed to be a criticism of Biden? I don't get it. He has plenty of liberal votes and positions to criticize. Why is the decision to take office and commute from Delaware daily something bad?
