Makes me wonder if the FBI always refuses court orders for information on open investigations? If it is not an open investigation, then I'd expect the FBI to respond by saying they have nothing in hand to share with the court. |

. FBI reports to the Justice Dept. In some cases, they just moved over the same people that protected Lerner and the IRS. Strong suspicion the FBI brass, eager to please their bosses, simply put people in charge to take care of things like the guy running the IRS now. Justice Department lawyers have already filed motions saying that Hillary did nothing wrong. This was predicted. Edited by Mason, Sep 21 2015, 09:25 PM.

Protecting Hillary: All over but the shouting EDITORIAL In 2008, Democratic presidential primary voters defied the party establishment and picked an inspiring young candidate over the one anointed by party elders. This time, the establishment is not taking any chances. Democratic voters should feel used. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has strictly limited the number of officially sanctioned presidential primary debates to six and written the participation rules so tightly as to all but guarantee there will be no alternatives such as the New Hampshire Union Leader’s Voters First Forum for Republican presidential candidates this past summer. The DNC has scheduled only four presidential debates before the Iowa caucuses, and only one debate in New Hampshire, that one on Dec. 19, just six days before Christmas. When DNC Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz spoke at the state Democratic Convention in Manchester on Saturday, she was heckled so loudly her speech was drowned out at times. The hecklers shouted her down with demands of more debates. Their anger and frustration are understandable. On the Republican side, primary voters have 16 candidate options and 11 debates to help them decide. Six of those debates are scheduled before the Feb. 1 Iowa caucuses. The Democratic primary voters are being muffled — on purpose — by a party elite that wants no one to disrupt Hillary Clinton’s path to the nomination. If an establishment Republican is to win the presidential nomination in 2016, he is going to have to earn it. The same is not true on the Democratic side. From the debate schedule to the early endorsements from figures such as U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen and Gov. Maggie Hassan, the fix is in for Clinton. Democratic voters might ask themselves why the establishment feels the need to go to such lengths to protect its candidate from the voters’ judgment. - See more at: http://www.unionleader.com/Protecting_Hillary:_All_over_but_the_shouting_#sthash.pcUJM9KS.dpuf |

The House Republicans could commence impeachment proceedings against lawless officials in the Justice Department, including the Attorney General herself, for stonewalling court orders.. Forget for the moment that the Senate would not follow through.. The publicity itself would hearten conservatives and bring to the front and center (alas, yet again) the corruption that pervades the Obama administration. Oops!. I temporarily forgot that the Republicans are themselves corrupt.. Sorry for slipping into wishful-thinking mode . . . |

. Good points. The Republicans surrendered to Obama before he took office. They were briefing him on intelligence before he became President and he had a Secret Service Detail before this point in the election - which Donald Trump does not have at this time. The decision was made long, long ago they would not fight him on any front whether he was telling them to shut up and he'd let them sit at the back of the bus, or he was telling absolute lies about Obamacare. There were many things that could've been done along the way, but it was easier to fake opposition, or get on TV and say there was nothing that could be done. Would Harry Reid fold up the tent and allow a Republican President to overwrite the Country? . |

. What is this? Concerns over National Security when someone may have possibly said that some Muslims may be less than loving? Let's get back to defending Muslims, Islamic strategy, Mosques that have trained Terrorists, and everything Muslim. National Security? All together now - I pledge allegiance to the Islamic State and all its forms. . . Edited by Mason, Sep 22 2015, 11:34 PM.
