...The football should come directly to the game and passed out with someone from the NFL in charge....

Somebody had to pay for the NFL's outright STUPID methods used to control the balls ...it's like asking the fox to guard the hen house. And the same idiots are counting the hens!!

lol. Well it's not like this is a criminal case. So what if the phone is personal or not. Goodell asked if the NFL could examine it and Brady said no. No big deal. Didn't they have what Brady sent on other phones? So brady destroyed his phone. No big deal. Why also destroy the SIM card? Worse than hilLIARy' emails? Brady did not have to do anything. He gets a punishment, so what. If he wanted to show his evidence he could have. He didn't. Live with it.

You know what I find funny, ESPN and the NFL Network and NBC Sports, and FOX Heads all day long have been saying - you know, Robert Kraft (Patriot's Owner) he stepped aside. He knew Brady was guilty and you see, he's not fighting.

Well, he wasn't fighting until tonight.

PATRIOT'S OWNER: THE NFL IS TRYING TO DESTROY TOM BRADY!

That's a mild-mannered, well respected businessman.

"We are extremely disappointed in today's ruling by Commissioner Goodell. We cannot comprehend the league's position in this matter. Most would agree that the penalties levied originally were excessive and unprecedented, especially in light of the fact that the league has no hard evidence of wrongdoing. We continue to unequivocally believe in and support Tom Brady. We also believe that the laws of science continue to underscore the folly of this entire ordeal. Given all of this, it is incomprehensible as to why the league is attempting to destroy the reputation of one of its greatest players and representatives."

If it were Cam Newton or Dez Bryant - they could have their own footballs made by child labor in Ethiopia to their own specificaitons.

Brady is not popular. The League is constantly talking about the new generation of QB and player - and a White, Christian, Straight Male just isn't it.

Look at Madden covers.

The Report actually says that since there is no alternate reason for PSI readings - we find Brady more than likely Guilty.

Well, they never heard of the Ideal Gas Law, which explains everything - and the Refs ran from the Truth that the Colt's footballs did the same thing. They shut down testing after 3 of 4 were out of spec.

It's headed for Federal Court.

I don't know much about these types of (Federal Court) cases - only that the report is drawn on guesses - and even says so.

I go to ESPN - and there's a big honkin' headline: LESTER MUNSON: BRADY HAS NO CHANCE IN COURT.

Munson praises Goodell and his mastery in his decision and NFL ruling.

Lester Munson said the Duke Lacrosse Players were going down - that Mike Niong was a "seasoned" and well experienced Prosecutor who was holding back a surprise in evidence for the Players (which would be illegal in NC).

Munson was eager on ESPN pages and in webchats and Radio interviews to suggest the third Perpetrator (they were two indictments at the time) was cooperating with the Master Prosecutor Nifong and telling them the horrible details. Munson surmised that many more charges were coming against the two indicted players - because they weren't admitting to the Gang-rape and kidnapping and every time they told lies to the Master Prosecutor, they were bringing new charges on themselves.

I don't know - but I know Munson is a flaming idiot and that it's likely Politics were involved with all the Sports Networks legal analysts assuming guilt and predicting decades long Prison sentences and propagating the Mike Nifong legend crap.

Nifong had experience getting his friends out of traffic tickets and doing plea deals for almost everything in traffic court.

So in order to maybe prevent the 4 game suspension the NFL players association brings a suit to federal court. Then the NFL players association will ask a friendly judge to put a halt on the suspension until the Feds resolve the issue in court. The court says ok, Brady can play. Brady plays and the Feds don't hear the case until after the super bowl. At that time Brady decides to retire from football. The federal case is dropped. There is no suspension. Everyone lives happily ever after.

By the way, Brady's birthday is August 3. He will be 38. Probably his last year for playing quarterback.

Except, they want Brady.

Think of it this way - 4 days before this game a Colts (the opponent) linebacker was charged with Rape. 2 weeks after that game another Colts linebacker was arrested for assault and attacking someone.

Have you heard of those cases? Did Goodell demand anyone's phone?

There are so many firsts in this Prosecution.

The NFL has already filed in Federal court. They asked the FED Court to affirm their decision....
How can they do that?

Did the NFL file a lawsuit against itself on Brady's behalf ....in the court of their choice?

Seen any links on this reporting?

let me get that information.

And the NFL just announced an appeal ruling they made where they reduced the punishment from 10 games to 4 games for Hardy (Cowboys). They released no information with it, like it was a private matter.

At the same at the same time they did a large media release to incriminate Tom Brady.

NFL seeks “confirmation of arbitration award” in New York

Mike Florio

updated 4:43 pm. EDT Jul. 28, 2015

What began with a 243-page report has culminated, for now, in a four-page lawsuit.

The short and simple complaint filed Tuesday by the NFL against the NFL Players Association in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York specifically seeks pre-emptive confirmation of the arbitration award reflected in Commissioner Roger Goodell’s decision to uphold the four-game suspension imposed on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

It’s a move likely without precedent. In past controversies, the NFL has issued a decision and then played defense in court. In this case, the NFL has opted to go on the offensive against the union and Brady.

The effort, on the surface, projects confidence in the league’s position. At a deeper level, it suggests real concern about how the NFL would fare in a forum more naturally favorable to Brady.

The document itself contains no clues or hints about the arguments that the NFL is anticipating. Instead, it seeks confirmation of the decision “under well-established principles of federal labor law.”

Inevitably, Brady and the NFLPA will file a lawsuit in a jurisdiction of their own choosing.

Tom Brady Comments on Deflategate Suspension Being Upheld

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady asserted his innocence once again Wednesday following the NFL's decision to uphold his four-game suspension for his alleged role in the Deflategate scandal.

Brady stated, "I did nothing wrong, and no one in the Patriots organization did either" in a post on his Facebook page. The quarterback said the hours of testimony provided were completely dismissed based on the standard he was probably "generally aware" of misconduct he claims never occurred.

One of the major developments to emerge from the NFL's decision surrounded a destroyed cell phone, which the league had wanted to examine. The four-time Super Bowl champion said he made it known before changing phones that it wouldn't be made available, adding:

I replaced my broken Samsung phone with a new iPhone 6 AFTER my attorneys made it clear to the NFL that my actual phone device would not be subjected to investigation under ANY circumstances. As a member of a union, I was under no obligation to set a new precedent going forward, nor was I made aware at any time during Mr. Wells' investigation, that failing to subject my cell phone to investigation would result in ANY discipline.

Along with that explanation, Brady also stated he never contacted anybody about altering the air pressure in footballs. He believes the way the cell phone story is portrayed presents a false narrative about his reason for getting rid of his previous phone....snipped

The only thing we know for sure is many attorneys will be billing for their services.

Well, we do know a couple things.

Referees replaced the balls at halftime - no one disputes that - and the score was 35 to zero in that second half.
