How was canceling the LAX season going to stop the pictures? The media could simply replay video footage they had already recorded from when the story broke until the LAX season was canceled (as well as stock video footage of LAX games and/or LAX practices) and pictures from the "wanted poster." What he really means is that he cowardly caved to pressure from the media, mindless liberals, and the AA community to cancel the LAX season. Throughout this case, Steel and Brodhead always took the easy way out. The easiest thing to do was to sacrifice the players, and throw them under the bus. "We had to stop those pictures" -- where was Steel's resolve/determination when the "wanted poster" was being displayed across campus? Edited by MikeZPU, Mar 18 2014, 05:33 PM.
