Your letters to various NC officials (and even Duke officials?) may well have been preserved
somewhere.

(They may become useful to future historians.)

Below is a sample of some of the letters sent to the governor of Alabama during the Scottsboro
case.

I have to wonder if NC has preserved the letters sent to various NC officials;

if Duke has done the same;

and if anyone is making an oral history of the events in the lax case (for example, the Duke or Durham
libraries).

Surely it is the duty of committed librarians and historians to do so.
