...Burwell sees a lengthy to-do list ahead of her, including making sure new Obamacare enrollees actually use their coverage That would be the point where those qualified for FREE MONEY would learn about the money they owe which is not free... about 87% of them may experience that lesson! . |

But there were 30 or 40 million uninsured... And what, exactly, does 11.4M enrolled mean? Is it 11.4M who never previously had health insurance? I'll guess no. |

The CBO estimate of uninsured was 55 million, which counted illegals. The leftist bean counters are trying to claim most were previously uninsured, but they have no explanation for the individuals previously insured ONLY being able to insure now through Obamacares exchanges. I've debated this topic on twitter with a couple economic professors. I explain to the azzhats that all previously insured individuals are either in Obamacare or newly uninsured. Seems like simple math to me. Either way, it is not good for the Obamacare head count. The 1.4 million is the number that "selected" a plan, not necessarily paid for it. Also, as more enroll, more learn about the out-of-pocket costs. The head count for drop outs (8+ went to 6.7 million somehow) and e drop out rate will increase as more enroll. Anyway... the cure will have to come from the courts. The politicians will then talk about the next $olution! ADD: Some of the individuals were saved their old policy by the executive law rewrite, but that was a small percentage and it is ending. Edited by kbp, Feb 19 2015, 03:48 PM.

What it means is "nowhere near 11.4 million newly insured"... |

oops 11.4 million! We agree that it is not close to being all newly insured. All the counts in reduction to the uninsured number include Medicaid and more companies providing coverage. I'd guess maybe half or less of the 11.4 million are newly insured with exchange policies. |

I tried over 8 times to select a primary care provider ie personal physician. None of the internal med or GP doctors I chose were available, and each time I tried to pick a doctor I got a laundry list of possible reasons why not, including my age, or that they weren't accepting new patients, or seven or so other reasons, including they weren't available on my plan!!!! I had to start a new search each time. Clunky stupid moronic software from Anthem BCBS. I wasted two and half hours so far just plugging in names. Can't they offer me a list of nearby actually and not potentially available doctors based on my needs and age and sex? I have to keep searching, one by one, starting a completely new search every damn time. Almost $1600 so far this year alone on premiums and I don't even have a doctor yet. Special Obamacare enrollment window considered for those who suffer tax penalty shock http://twitchy.com/2015/02/19/special-obamacare-enrollment-window-considered-for-those-who-suffer-tax-penalty-shock/ I mentioned this earlier. The Obamacare tax is apparently now considered a special circumstance, allowing late enrollment... |

Lots of headlines celebrating enrollment success. It looks like they surpassed both revised goals ...falling well short of the original. It's amazing how things work out when you lower the bar! |

Obama has officially extended the sign up period "through tax season". Presumably that is until 4/15. Per WSJ Live. |
