How about an exhibition on another case, from 2006? That one has been called "Scottsboro II".
Surely "Scottsboro II" has a place there? |

Mangum's icky panties, one white shoe, an empty Flexeril bottle, the magic towel, the DPD dry erase board, and an endless video loop of highlights from Nifong's disbarment hearing...especially Himan quoting Nifong's statement "We're f*cked!" |

btw, where are the Duke library, the Durham public library, and the NCCU library (where Mangum was a student)? Here is the perfect opportunity to collect an oral history of the most famous case in Durham's history (or Duke's history; or NCCU's history). "Let's just all forget about it, shall we?" Is that the way true historians treat significant events? Or aren't there any real historians, dedicated to their craft, anywhere in that zip code? |
