Today the Senate passed a mammoth spending bill that will fund the federal government until September, and that locks in the Republicans’ sequestration victory. The Senate also debated the Democrats’ budget–the first they have proposed after four long years. We have written extensively about the Democrats’ budget proposal. It would increase taxes by $1.5 trillion, accelerate federal spending and add $7 trillion to the federal deficit. It is, in other words, utterly brain dead.

There was black smoke again from the White House chimney today.

We still don't have a President.

Anyone who thinks there isn’t much difference between Republicans and Democrats needs to look more deeply into the fiscal proposals that the two parties have advanced.

The Senate can't increase revenue. How bold of them to throw out a budget that merely makes Barry look good, it could be worse.

Meanwhile, I assembled the names of the Rinos that voted on the spending. Do not give them credit for sticking with the Sequestration, for that was the TRADE-OFF for the passage of a previous spending bill.

Voted YES on the spending:
Alexander (R-TN)
Barrasso (R-WY)
Blunt (R-MO)
Boozman (R-AR)
Chambliss (R-GA)
Coats (R-IN)
Cochran (R-MS)
Collins (R-ME)
Corker (R-TN)
Cornyn (R-TX)
Hatch (R-UT)
Hoeven (R-ND)
Isakson (R-GA)
Johanns (R-NE)
King (I-ME)
McConnell (R-KY)
Murkowski (R-AK)
Sanders (I-VT)
Sessions (R-AL))
Shelby (R-AL)
Thune (R-SD)
Wicker (R-MS)
