We heard for a long, long time there was just something about Romney people didn't like.

Things have changed, most likely because it was getting the job done well enough.

Barbara Wawa recently said the perception of Romney was he wasn't that smart. Tonight, a black comedian on Prime-Time O'Reilly said that Romney is Slow.

You can see the new strategy, but it seems that is going to be a hard line to tow with Romney.

How many years was it before someone said Obama wasn't that Bright? Has that even made Main Stream Media yet?

Just from my personal insight having first hand knowledge of Romney's days at Bain, the guy is plenty smart, savy, knowledgeable, bright, resourceful, etc. Whatever adjective you want to attribute to one who possesses mental acuity, Romney has it in spades. Make no mistake about it.

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."

"Romney is Slow."

Except in debates, where he speaks more quickly than our stammering faker of a POTUS.

It was all over the place when Biden said it...

I mean all over the internet...

The MSM and the outrage crews apparently didn't care much...

Somehow he still got picked to be VP...

He even went further...

Two months later, responding to a question in an August interview on Fox News Sunday, Biden was asked how a "Northeast liberal" could compete against more conservative southern candidates.

"Better than everybody else. You don't know my state. My state was a slave state. My state is a border state. My state is the eighth largest black population in the country. My state is anything from a northeast liberal state," Biden said.

He repeated the comment during a visit to South Carolina in December 2006 at an event before the Columbia Rotary Club, according to a story published in The State newspaper. The State reported that Biden referred to Delaware as a "slave state that fought beside the North. That's only because we couldn't figure out how to get to the South. There were a couple of states in the way."

I remember the statement a little like that from Harry Reid, but that's the first time I'd seen that one by Biden. I guess he is just a walking, talking Free Pass.

LTC8K6 we can't criticize any Democrat nor any Black Comedian. The idea that Blacks voted 92-8% for Obama wasn't racist. no-sir-re

That's just his version of the facts. The previous one is something I firmly classify as racist.

It's his attempt to make us think he wouldn't say anything that's racist, I think.

At any rate, the "articulate" comment was horribly racist and would have ended any Republican career.
