Obama: 'This Nation. Me.'

"So across the board we are engaging them in building capacity in these countries and we have stood on the side of democracy. One thing I think Americans should be proud of: when Tunisians began to protest, this nation, me, my administration, stood with them earlier than just about any other country."

Tingles may be half right about some of his rant. There is practically nothing that some people want more than to see this POTUS out of the White House. But it has nothing to do with race.
Tingles has really placed himself outside of legitimate political reporting with his last four years. Next stop Current TV!

What a strange dude.
I noticed that "me, me, me" moment when it happened. I knew what he meant to say, but he let his ego determine his wording there. His arrogance then came across as being directed it at the viewers, instead of Romney.

Romney won the presidential debate by looking presidential. Obama had a painful case of Biden's smile

Romney won the third presidential debate – and how he did it was encapsulated in a single exchange. The candidates were discussing military spending and Romney had just accused Obama of making harmful cutbacks. The President wheeled out what must have seemed like a great, pre-planned zinger: “I think Governor Romney maybe hasn't spent enough time looking at how our military works. You mentioned the navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we did in 1916. Well, governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets because the nature of our military's changed.” The audience laughed, Obama laughed, I laughed. It was funny.

But here’s why it was also a vote loser. For a start, Twitter immediately lit up with examples of how the US Army does still use horses and bayonets (horses were used during the invasion of Afghanistan). More importantly, this was one example of many in which the President insulted, patronised and mocked his opponent rather than put across a constructive argument. His performance was rude and unpresidential. Obama seemed to have a touch of the Bidens, wriggling about in his chair, waving his hands dismissively and always – always – smirking in Romney’s direction. By contrast, Romney sucked up the abuse and retained a rigid poker face all night. He looked like a Commander in Chief; Obama looked like a lawyer. Who would you rather vote for?...snipped

Obama Whiffs Last Chance to Present Second-Term Agenda

...Obama's closing statement, though it did focus on the American economy, struck the wrong tone entirely. From a body language perspective, he was visibly irritated, with a furrowed brow and finger pointed at the viewer. And thematically, it was stale, continuing the theme he's hammered since the Democratic National Convention: yes, things are bad, but you don't know how good you have it compared to where those guys would take you.

Resembled the message Pelosi has been stuck on, that it could have been worse.

Romney’s Brilliant Maneuver

Gov. Mitt Romney today pulled a bold move in the final debate with President Obama, opting for relatively limited verbal combat with his opponent while instead showcasing his knowledge of foreign affairs, adopting a presidential demeanor, and offering a sense of optimism for the future.

This strategy was the political equivalent of the Muhammed Ali Rope-a-Dope against George Foreman in the heavyweight boxing championship in 1974. Everyone expected a war, but Ali laid back on the ropes and let his bigger, stronger opponent pound away until Foreman was exhausted, and Ali knocked him out.

And I think Romney may have scored a knockout too.

Some commentators are suggesting Obama won because he scored more points. But I think such people are looking at this from within the paradigm of what they expected, and not what happened.

Everyone – including me – thought Romney would tear into Obama once again and engage in another slugfest, spending as much time as possible discussing the failures surrounding Benghazi. Instead, Romney completely walked away from Benghazi.

What Romney needed tonight was not to beat up on Obama – he had already proven he could do that – but to cast himself as a leader people will be comfortable having as their president.

He threw some jabs, but the knockout punch wasn’t delivered by fist, but by feint.

Romney stood tall while Obama appeared a little surly, eager to re-litigate domestic policy points that the two had already plowed through in two debates. By repeatedly demeaning Romney, Obama demeaned himself. The proverbial Martian visiting earth for the first time would have been convinced that Romney was the king the earthlings, not Obama....snipped

Are Muslims permitted to lie?

Muslim scholars teach that Muslims should generally be truthful to each other, unless the purpose of lying is to "smooth over differences."

There are two forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, taqiyya and kitman. These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them. ..snipped

Just sayin.. No I don't believe Obama is a Muslim, he is too much of a Marxist. But he uses some of those principles

At the end of this 3rd debate, the Obama's mingled with the Romney family group, shaking hands and chatting with children and grandchildren. That's the first time I've seen them do this. Maybe they are learning about graciousness and class.

Jake Tapper tweeted this afternoon:

Jake Tapper ‏@jaketapper
Sources say after the debate, @TRomney apologized to POTUS for saying he wanted to "take a swing" at him during 2nd debate; POTUS accepted

@jaketapper
sources also say that @JoshRomney notes he has in fact taken punches from @TRomney, and that the president has nothing to worry about.

The whole piece on this at Rush Limbaugh's web site is a really good read.
Rush has the audio quotes of what Obama said during his Apology Tour in 2009.

http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2012/10/23/it_wasn_t_just_an_apology_tour_it_was_a_condemnation_tour_and_we_have_all_the_evidence_to_prove_it_right_here

And here's what I considered was a decisive blow against Obama last night.

ROMNEY: The president in his campaign some four years ago said he'd meet with all the world's worst actors in his first year. He'd sit down with Chavez and Kim Jong-il, with Castro and with president Ahmadinejad of Iran. I think they looked and thought, "Well, that's an unusual honor to receive from the president of the United States." And then the president began what I have called an apology tour, of going to various nations in the Middle East and criticizing America. I think they looked at that and saw weakness.

OBAMA: Nothing, uh, Governor Romney just said is true, starting with this notion of me apologizing. This has been, uhh, probably the biggest whopper that's been told during the course of this campaign. And every fact-checker and every reporter [who] has looked at it, Governor, has said this is not true.

RUSH: Well, but the problem is, it is true! He did run around the world blaming America; agreeing that America had been the problem here or there. In Cairo he talked about how the American people had imposed their way on people for far too long. Everybody knows he engaged in an apology tour! And after Obama called him a liar, Romney came back even stronger.

ROMNEY: Reason I called it an apology tour is because you went to Middle East and you flew to Egypt and to Saudi Arabia and to Turkey and Iraq. And, by the way, you skipped Israel, our closest friend in the region. But you went to the other nations. And, by the way: They noticed that you skipped Israel. And then in those nations, and on Arabic TV, you said that America had been "dismissive and derisive." You said that "on occasion America had dictated to other nations." Mr. President, America has not dictated to other nations. We have freed other nations from dictators.
