Joe had a plan going in. By the time the debate was over, he knew his plan failed. |

In looking at the political shows and various reports Joe Biden isn't faring so well today. His lies were discovered and reported by reporters. It is getting harder for them to cover it up. From the Catholic Bishops to the various news outlets it is pretty clear to most of us, except the diehard Dems, that Biden acts like a Drunken Uncle as the Seals Team 6 called him.. and a rude one at that. The Libya Response is garnering increased attention which is what the Dems don't need. Debate Renews Focus on Libya The White House's shifting explanations about the fatal attack on a U.S. consulate in Libya spilled overnight from the vice-presidential debate to the presidential race Friday, renewing criticism of President Barack Obama's handling of the crisis by GOP nominee Mitt Romney. The combative debate Thursday night energized a jittery Democratic base with Vice President Joe Biden's tough, commanding tone, but it also left an opening for Mr. Romney to escalate his criticism of Mr. Obama. During the debate, Mr. Biden said the White House was unaware that U.S. officials in Libya had asked for more security ahead of the attack last month, which killed four Americans including the U.S. Ambassador, Christopher Stevens. Mr. Biden appeared to contradict former State Department officials, based in Libya and Washington, who testified Wednesday to Congress about the personnel request. "We weren't told they wanted more security there," Mr. Biden said. "We did not know they wanted more security again." The Romney campaign used the comments during the nationally televised debate to press its argument that the administration was misleading Americans. "There were more questions that came out of last night," Mr. Romney said in Richmond, Va. "The vice president directly contradicted the sworn testimony of State Department officials. He's doubling down on denial."...snipped http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10000872396390444657804578052933019514000.html?mod=googlenews_wsj MSNBC might have liked it but I doubt Independents and Women did. IMHO they are caught in a lie and there is "No Way Out!" Edited by Baldo, Oct 12 2012, 07:37 PM.
