So is he trying to tell us a stroke is a pre-existing condition? They sign you up with a new policy in the ambulance? I suspect the entire story is BS, but I'm not sure where Obamacare comes in here. Maybe it's cheaper to buy a policy than pay for prescriptions (after the stroke). |

"And we were milking it for all it was worth because we don’t get out that often" Yeah, I'm sure Grandma is making them Pig's Feet and Hash. Who are they kidding? A first-class flunky wouldn't believe this bull . Edited by Mason, Oct 9 2012, 02:33 AM.

What am I missing here that can put a shine on Obamacare? It reads like she got coverage after the stroke, so maybe that creates a pre-existing condition which relates to the policy paying for medicines. If that is the best he can give us??? It points out one of the problems with Obamacare ...buying a policy on the way into the hospital so someone else can pay your bill for you. I feel like I am totally missing what Barry is bragging about, 'cause he shouldn't brag on a feature that drives policy prices up, up, up... Edited by kbp, Oct 9 2012, 07:25 AM.

And no mention of the quality of life? Like is she up and getting around on her own? Can speak and use both arms? Push the buttons on a phone? Other normal quality of life stuff? Or is she bed ridden and someone has to take care of her 24/7 and give meds to her to keep her alive? What does keeping "her alive mean"? |
