. I saw the most amazing Video while traveling. One of the sites, I think its Boston.com has embedded videos, sometimes long, and they provide no link and none of the conventional ways to copy. Biden was at a Stump event and they were filming him talking to people and signing autographs. This was CLOSE range and you see the faces of his staff and you could the Secret Service. They went back and forth and filmed him talking to individuals and signing autographs after his speech. You heard loving comments from those as he hugged and signed away. He got to one man and the man asked a serious question. The facial expression of Biden while the question was still being asked was amazing. He look like he was overcome with fear, his eyes got big and it was like a hiker that saw a bear before him. The Camera went to his staff standing next to him and they looked like they were going to burst as the man asked the question. The Secret service stepped up a bit like they were going to block somewhat. This was a fair, even common question for someone running for office and the whole group looked like they were going to bolt. If you remember someone asking Biden questions once, and his Staff person (a female) asked him angrily who he was with (what Press Organization) after his question. This had that some look, his staff was crowding in and panicking. I wondered what orders have come down from Obama's staff - and if that is source of all this anxiety and panick. . |

He'll have a difficult time responding to or questioning anything Ryan says that he was not fully rehearsed on. My guess is he'll drift off to lines OT, the kind which will allow him to smile after he presents them. Nobody expects much from Joe! Edited by kbp, Oct 7 2012, 02:18 PM.

It will be an interesting debate. As far as intellectual ability it will be no contest. Larry Kudlow, CNBC pundit, spoke about meeting Paul Ryan 20 years ago where Kudlow was a Director in Empower America and Ryan was an intern after graduating with a double major in economics and political science. He said it was clear Ryan was brilliant and claims today Ryan is the actual smartest person in DC. He understand the US Budgetary Process better than anyone. And besides Ryan actually drove the Weinermobile when he worked for Oscar Mayer! Biden is an experienced politician and has made a life out of BSing & lying to anyone who is forced to be in the same room. However he does have charm at times. For the life of me I have no idea why Obama chose Biden as VP. Edited by Baldo, Oct 7 2012, 02:28 PM.

The problem is that the msm, knowing that the expectation for Biden is so low will claim him the winner if Ryan misspeaks or looks tentative, wooden, overbearing ....(you fill in the adjective) etc. and Biden only makes a few (and remember who will be defining "few") mistakes. |

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/07/How-to-Beat-Paul-Ryan-in-a-Debate But this article has a point. Biden's only shot is being the super compassionate slightly dopey sweet old guy to Ryan's uncaring Wonk image. Ryan had better prepare for it. He can win on intellect and still lose. Ryan has to remember people are scared out there. |

. Here's what I remember about 4 years ago. There was a debate and immediately afterward the Talking Heads said how knowledgeable and worldly - and wonky Biden was. In about 2 hours, Fox was replete with people pointing out things Biden said that were factually incorrect - on multiple accounts. He got away with it - unless you were a very interested viewer. . I guess I missed reading or hearing about Biden using tape on his forehead (or are you referring to his "plugs?") Remember I'm not the brightest bulb in the package!

. Yeah, his Forehead is that large. Wanna bet he opens up by saying there are two dramatically visions for America. Romney doesn't care about kids or Granny, school lunches and pollution, yada-yada. The problem is O-Biden's vision only contains Government Jobs. . |
