So what will be the result of tonight's debate?

1) Romney should get a bounce eventually among Independents
2) Obama voters should get slightly discouraged
3) Romney supporters should be encouraged.

4) Obama bombs Libya, Syria and Iran by morning. IOW, he becomes desperate.
re: #4

I was kind of surprised Obama wasn't called out of the debate by Secret Service regarding a National Security Crisis Emergency That Couldn't Wait, somewhere around 10:00 pm.

Favorite lines:

Romney: I have five sons . . .

Romney: [Solyndra, et al , directly to the President] You don't just pick winners and losers. You pick Losers.

Obama: Jim, you might want to move on to the next subject.

The forum crowd will be adjusted for the next debate.

Silence is not the golden boy's friend.

"Jim, you might want to move on to the next subject"....now THAT will make a great campaign add...transposed with O's failures.

What about the irony of Barack Obama standing up there and saying how can he do all this he says he's going to do and not raise the deficit?

That is like Twilight Zone material.

Good night.

Pelosi indicated that Romney was exposed tonight.

Nancy must be at Joey B's house.

I heard the sounds between the lines when Sarah Palin warned tonight that BHO crowd will not go quietly. To be VERY vigilant if Obama starts to slide. What I heard was that she was warning that some "event" might be manufactured to scare the voters into Obama's camp..

She should know. That side plays to win... at all costs. I expect the next debate to be very different. I just hope a lot of people will vote early while Romney is ahead.

I wonder if we hear Obama wasn't feeling well. Or that he was shocked by the level of deceit by Mitt Romney.

Underhand tricks are being plotted tonight. That much we know.

You have to wonder how many people voted for Obama and now regret their vote!

Few reasons Onama did not do well tonight:

1. He had to use that phoney "white guy" accent
2. Michelle makes him subsist on her school lunches
3 Romney did not genuflect
4. Jim Lehrer is a racist

Nighty Nite...Hooligans.

I watched it on C-Span and then switched over to Fox for commentary.

The one thing that most impressed me about Romney, and tells me a lot about his style of leadership:

When he was Governor of Massachusetts, first starting out with an 80-something % of Democrats in the legislature, he held Monday meetings with party leadership, legislative committee heads, etc of BOTH parties, for finding common ground and crafting legislation that would work for their state.

As I recall our President held bipartisan meetings regarding the budget, which he stormed out of after an altercation with . . . Paul Ryan.

{added -- that is Monday meetings EVERY WEEK. For months. How many meetings has Obama just skipped out on?}
