There is one bible verse that keeps coming to mind..as I read these political articles, again and again it comes to me....

"But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. "

I think we are there.

These little minds all possessed by their GODALMIGHTY race, gender, sexuality "issues"....all these Unions and Illegals and Honey-boo-boos...thinking that there are simple answers by which the Government can give them MORE. The acendancy of the Stupid and the Avenging Aggrieved.

From Powerline...discussing why the polls have not moved after Bufffoon's hideous week of failures in domestic and foreign policy. He says it better...but in brief...TEAM SPIRIT!!!

"How can this be? I think it is a manifestation of the frequently-commented-upon polarization of the electorate. As I wrote here, this election shouldn’t be close, on paper, given Obama’s record of abject failure. But so many Americans are now cashing federal checks that self-interest drives many millions to vote Democrat, regardless of the public interest. Another factor is at work, too: more than ever, party affiliation reflects not so much empirical judgments about public policy issues, but deep-seated cultural affinity. As I noted here, the extent to which regular church attendance, or the lack thereof, is a predictor of presidential preference is shocking.

So, when you put those elements together, it seems that fewer and fewer votes are up for grabs. I can relate: it is difficult to imagine circumstances that would cause me to vote for a Democrat for any office. For better or worse, and for good reasons or bad, an enormous number of Americans feel that way. The result is that there are many millions who would rather vote for four more years of failure than vote for a Republican. More evidence of incompetence, whether on the economy or foreign policy, doesn’t sway their determination to vote Democrat."

Probably the fruits of a stealth Marxist campaign over the years. This didn't just happen, IMO.

There was a time when images of American embassies under siege and a United States ambassador being dragged through the streets by a baying mob would have represented serious trouble for the administration in power, especially when coupled with obvious dishonesty about the circumstances that led to the debacle and an apparent lack of foresight and prudence on the part of the State Department. If anything might be expected to move the polls, this should be it. Yet the effects of the last week’s events on polling in the presidential race have been: nothing.

Yes, we sent our children to the best schools where they were indoctrinated by
Leftists; if Protesant and non Evangelical, we took them to churches were Leftists held sway. Do you know the main item on the agenda of the Episcopal Church at their Convention this year: transgender ordination. In the world as we know it, THIS was the burning item of first concern.

We were dupes.

Baldo you may be right about that. I was watching a show about the Mayan calendar, it was from 2010, I believe and the speakers stated that the calendar my indicate the end of an era, not the end of the world. They went on to say that it would basically be the end of the world as we know it.

Quote:

Psalm 83:

3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people,
and consulted against thy hidden ones.

4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation;
that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

5 For they have consulted together with one consent:
they are confederate against thee:

6 the tabernacles of Edom, and the Ish'maelites;
of Moab, and the Hag'arenes;

7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Am'alek;
the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

8 Assur also is joined with them:
they have helped the children of Lot.

(snip)

16 Fill their faces with shame;
that they may seek thy name, O LORD.

17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever;
yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

18 that men may know that thou,
whose name alone is JEHOVAH,
art the Most High over all the earth.

Islam is dying. It's being held up to open view and shown for what it is--not only to westerners,
but also to moslems themselves.

So now it is in a frenzy.

(a million Arabic bibles have been distributed in Iraq; there are countries which had virtually no Christians at all before about
ten years ago--most of the "____stans", for example; which now have 25,000 or so.)

In Saudi Arabia and Iraq, a quarter of all children under 18 are regular viewers of Christian children's programs beamed in by satellite; their parents let them watch because these programs are "safe"; they don't preach jihad and suicide-for-glory all day long. Instead, they are educational (science), bible stories (some of which Islam shares) and stories about the prophet Isa (Jesus), whom they accept as a prophet but about whom they know very little.

These cultures have never been so saturated with outside ideas before.

In Iran, the majority of the young people (and Iran is a young country) are sick of radical Islam.

The result of our debacles in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc., will be leaving behind very changed cultures. Even if the Taliban take over,
the people will only be getting a does of Industrial Strength Islam--which will make them see its cracks even more.

Islam cannot win a competition or be examined under full light, and survive. It's never been challenged on its home ground
before. Now it is.

It's depressing for some and should be worrisome for all.

Call me Captain Pollyanna but I think Obama is going to lose.

Two important dates

Oct 5 - Sept Jobs report

Nov 2 - Oct Job Report

The die is cast. The only way the jobs numbers drop below 8.0% is a massive amount of BLS fairy-dust & more people just give up and leave the job market. Sept Oct Nov are usually pretty flat over the last 10 years.

I just can't imagine the independents going "well unemployment is over 8.0% let's have more of the same."

I have spent 25 years volunteering in my community. My husband TITHES to the Salvation army. We are cutting everything off if the voters chose the Buffoon. They should GO TO HIM...work their way through the bureaucracy. WAIT for help. You chose the Federal government...great...live with it.

NOT A DIME TO CHARITY IF OBAMA IS RE-ELECTED. NOT AN HOUR OF WORK.

I suspect that fit Barry's agenda quite well, more people begging for free money.

Fine with me. I know how it works. Like any bureaucracy...the wait is long and the "results" mixed at best.

Let their "experiences" be a lesson...let them be the Buffoons legacy.

Here is the problem....we keep covering the slack with charity donations ...charity work. We need to let the Dems have their way...you know, the no-hands-dirty approach through a bureaucracy. This is the only way voters will EXPERIENCE Dem " compassion"....after they spend days desparately calling for aid. THey need to have Obama's FACE emblazoned in tneir despair...THE ONE THEY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR.

We are the fools who cover for him. We need to stop. People vote and make choices.
Live with them.

I for one certainly hope you are right, but Romney and Ryan need to get out there and talk about gas and food prices, which are not included in the inflation numbers. Why can't someone run an add showing Chuck U Shumer, standing at the gas pump in 2007, complaining about gas price, when they spiked under George Bush? Now they have spiked under Obama, but continue to rise. Then show Obama saying we need 4 dollar a gallon gas? Higher fuel prices mean higher food prices, period.
