http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/romney-criticizes-obama-response-middle-east-violence-031234603--election.htmlRomney criticizes Obama’s response to Middle East violenceMitt Romney sharply criticized President Barack Obama's response to attacks on the United States Embassy in Egypt and the U.S. Consulate in Libya, accusing him of sympathizing with those who carried out the attacks. "I'm outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi," Romney said in a statement issued to reporters late Tuesday. "It's disgraceful that the Obama Administration's first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks." Romney was referring to a statement issued by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo that apologized for an obscure anti-Muslim film being distributed by an Israeli-American real estate developer that prompted the protests Tuesday. An unnamed Obama administration official later disavowed that apology to Politico's Byron Tau, saying it "does not reflect the views of the U.S. government." Even FOX questioning Romney if he wants to walk it back. If anything he should say it again. This is America, if someone wants to make a film critical of anything they should be free to. Tired of all this pandering to other countries.

Were Fox commentators or guests just saying this or were they actually asking Romney the question?

Can you provide more details (who, what...)? Were Fox commentators or guests just saying this or were they actually asking Romney the question? They didn't question him directly. I think Campain Carl said they asked Romney's people if he stood by what he said. Some talking heads I think said he should walk it back.

Well he did not walk anything back. Thankfully no he didn't. I think his resolve in this situation well play well with republicans and independents.

President Pantywaist takes a firm stance on "No Questions form the Press!"
I have said it many times this man has no leadership training.

On the bright side he said there was no justification for this attack. So therefore Romney was right in his criticism.

http://news.yahoo.com/romney-white-house-gave-mixed-signals-143151069--election.html Romney: White House gave 'mixed signals' Associated Press – 56 mins ago
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says it's never too early for America to condemn attacks on its sovereignty and says the White House gave "mixed signals" in its response to the breach of the American embassy in Egypt.
Romney on Wednesday condemned attacks against the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four U.S. diplomats, including the U.S. ambassador.
Still, Romney stood by his sharp statement Tuesday night criticizing the Obama administration. On Wednesday he said that statement from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo was "akin to apology" and a "severe miscalculation."
