I think this Video is instructive.

Find a White Male in this Video. This Ad is for the National Forests. The National Forest Foundation was founded in 1991 by CONGRESS.

Like many Ads today, Blond white girls are included, Asians are included, but White Males are eliminated.

If the kids were all black, from the inner city, then you'd think you wouldn't have white, blond girls.

Your Tax $$$ hard at work.

"Somewhere only we know." Doesn't sound very inclusive.

I didn't go looking for this Ad, it's playing on Animal Planet and Nickelodeon every 5 minutes.

I think a White Male (even a child) equals oppression, so they didn't want any of those faces out there.

Imagine if they made Ads for Tax Payer funded Urban Institutions and eliminated black males.

In addition to not being able to jump, didn't you know that white boys can't sing?

Looked more like the Black Forest in Germany than one of our national forests. Especially with that German looking blond girl. Just sayin'........

The PS22 Chorus

Posted Image

Come on, Mason, admit it, you like the song. We saw you over there, singing right along with the children.

The fifth grade chorus from Public School 22 in Staten Island, NY would like to sing a very special song just for you ...

Brother and Sister

... and for all the Blog Hooligans.

We are Young

Edge of The Moon

And of course ..

Yes, sdsgo, Cute Kids (and good singers).

US Forest Service fits under USDA. USDA thought that Shirley Sherrod should be in a Management Postition after she made it her cause to keep land from falling into the hands of the White man (audience Gasp).

I suspect whoever produced this - associates white males with oppression and thought the existence of a WM face would ruin the environment. These are kids we are talking about too.

You came very close to becoming racist here, cks. Don't dare use the word rhythm.

It's hard to judge from a single commercial. I have no idea what other National Forest Foundation commercials are like, if there are any.

Obviously, you don't have a Degree in Angry Studies, lol.

"Somewhere only we know"

If the Libs had to live by their own rules.

What effect does this have on the six year old white boy watching Nickelodeon and Animal Planet?

The video is too "dreamy" for a forest. It is putting a dreamy kind of song into forests which are anything but for the dreamy. I guess these kids never heard of poison ivy or swarms of gnats.

That is the first I have ever seen. The only ones I can remember viewing where the forests are even mentioned are the one with Chief Josph shedding a tear about the environment and Smokey the Bear reminding one and all "That only YOU can prevent forest fires."

The foundation is at the above website (mission statement).

It appears to be a non-profit. It is big on diversity and having only one white child in the ad, I hope, is not their example of diversity.

It seems to have a leftist or globalist bent in that one of the aspects regards climate change.

http://www.nationalparks.org/our-work/programs/parks-climate-challenge

(Watch the video with Lyndon Torstenson. They want children to be taught to be change agents).

One of the sponsors of the climate change training is the Will Steger Foundation.
