Bastardi says Issac is weaker than Katrina, but it may hit directly New Orleans which Katrina didn't. The brunt of Katrina's surge hit the Mississippi shore. This one could actually cause twice as much rain in New Orleans 10-20 inches while Katrina was 5-6 inches. The danger is Lake Pontchartrain could receive as much water as Katrina provided and the storm surge could be as great if it directly hit New Orleans.

The Hollywood Losers have gone from unbridled Glee (when it was headed toward Tampa), to now stuck in the mud because they want to exploit the New Orleans Minority stuff.

I don't know how much water it carries, but it is a Cat 1. at this time.

.

A Catagory 1 storm can cause some flooding and some good winds.

Oops!

Robert Reich: George w. Bush as Hurricane Issac!

There is nothing Republicans would rather the American people forget more than George W. Bush, who doesn't even have a bit-part at the GOP convention opening today in Tampa.

But W's ghost may be there, anyway.

The National Weather Service says tropical storm Isaac is now heading for New Orleans, and Isaac is projected to become a Category 1 hurricane by the time it makes landfall late Monday or early Tuesday.

There's a rush by the DEMS to politicize a Storm. They were jumping up and down about it hiiting Tampa and now are rewriting the script.

I see the possibility of a DEM Funeral here. The Paul Wellstone Funeral. Anyone remember what happened there?

The DEM convention is coming up - and will they be able to resist the Paul Wellstone moment in the wake of the Storm?

We're supposed to believe Reich and his ilk don't know about this.

It is fascinating just how illusion orientated the Obama Administration is. You can see how they are always trying to brand something into a narrative that they can use.

Can the Dems actually run on a record? What record it is a disaster! Nope, so it is Bush's fault. It is somebody else's fault. Then when a success happens somewhere Obama tries to take credit for it. Seals Team 6 kills Obama and it's Obama making the tough decision. .

So now a hurricane is bearing down on New Orleans and they try to make parallels to Bush.

Never waste a crisis. What a dumb way to mange anything, much less a country.... and it shows.

I'm getting very disappointed about many actors I used to enjoy watching. We need right and left studios!

For all the complaining about Isaac not developing, pressures have dropped 15 mb in 24 hours. Another 15 and u are in cat 3 pres area

Joe Bastardi ‏@BigJoeBastardi

GFS track worst possible for New Orleans, as center takes 24 hours to move from mouth of Miss to nw of city.

He's the Best.

Personally, I wish they got him involved and on the air for Snow events too. Or more often.

Moonbat Actress Ellen Barkin Hopes Hurricane Kills “Every Pro-Life, Xenophobic, Gay-Bashing SOB” At The RNC…

August 27, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In the aftermath of the Family Research Council shooting, prominent voices on the Left have not tapped down their violent rhetoric against their opponents. Two Baby Boomer celebrities have taken to Twitter to hope pro-life, pro-family individuals and U.S. Congressman Todd Akin suffer a drowning or a same-sex rape, respectively.

On Sunday, Ellen Barkin expressed her hope that Tropical Storm Isaac would smash up the Republican National Convention in Tampa and drown all its delegates.

She retweeted the message of one of her followers that read: “C’mon #Isaac! Wash every pro-life, anti-education, anti-woman, xenophobic, gay-bashing, racist SOB right into the ocean! #RNC ” Barkin did not express any disagreement in her retweet.

The storm is expected to grow into a Category 1 hurricane before slamming into the Gulf Coast on Wednesday, the seventh anniversary of Hurricane Katrina....snipped

Still elongated enough to prevent rapid deepening, but still has 12 to 18 hrs to do it and system is improving

Joe Bastardi ‏@BigJoeBastardi

That wind at flight level is going to appear at the surface as storm tightens to coast Think this goes in at 965 or lower

Just verified what we already knew.

If a Natural disaster hits Palm Beach - there is glee and celebration among a large segment, let it hit an inner-city area and it's the biggest cause on earth. It's even a litmus test.
