There's only a 30% chance of rain as far as I can tell.

They are moving it to a 15K seat arena? Maybe they won't even fill that.

Still, even if BoA was only going to be half full, that will leave a lot of disappointed people who can't get in to see their hero.

Here's one comment from the wral, we know why they changed locations and it's not for fear of the weather.

Democrats moving President Obama's speech to Time Warner Cable Arena

Too funny !!! Consensus is that Bank of America stadium was not going to be full, even after
SC, VA, NC churches and schools bussed people in on Thursday. Not sure who was paying for that..................
(further questions as to how much $$ was actually raised by Clotte Conv Committee, and how much $$ will be owed by Clotte taxpayers, who must make up difference, per agreement with DNConv committee)

‘Obama Girl’ songwriter: ‘I’ve still got a crush’ (VIDEO)

This is not the same obama girl from 2008. This is the girl that wrote the song, she's the star of her own music video this time around.

I couldn't stomach any of convention really. Turned it on and there was Duckworth. Turned it back on and someone was introducing Michelle. Have seen parts of Castro's speech. He sounds like a ok speaker. Problem is he is backing a turd. Same goes with everyone else that is appearing at the convention. They art only hurting themselves in the future appearing at this convention.

Michelle Says “I” or “Me” 83 times

In her address to the Democratic Convention Tuesday evening, First Lady Michelle Obama used the words “I” or “me” 83 times, an average of more than three self-references a minute during her 25 minute speech.

The emphasis on herself is of note not only because of the strikingly personal nature of the speech, but because of the remarkable suggestion by the first lady that her political views and those of her husband arise much from their own experiences than a reasoned assessment of policies and facts....nipped

That Castro just sticks out in my mind. A great speaker, but not worthy of the recognition they're trying to give him. He’s riding on the GOP wagon of success in Texas.
