Democrats Say U.S. Is Better Off Than Four Years Ago CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A day after fumbling a predictable and straightforward question posed by Mitt Romney last week — are Americans better off than they were four years ago — the Obama campaign provided a response on Monday that it said would be hammered home during the Democratic convention here this week: “Absolutely.” The focus on the campaign’s handling of the question, after halting and contradictory responses from Democrats on Sunday, complicated the White House’s effort to begin striking a set of themes the president intends to highlight here and carry through the general election....snipped http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/04/us/politics/democrats-say-us-is-better-off-than-4-years-ago.html?_r=1&nl=todaysheadlines&emc=edit_th_20120904 You do the math 47 Million on Food Stamps 23 Million unemployed - 8.3 % 40 plus million underemployed - 15% Lowest level of labor participation rate in over 30 years 5.5 Trillion in added US Debt Gasoline Prices have doubled Have not had a US Budget for over 3 years Edited by Baldo, Sep 4 2012, 09:01 AM.

http://weaselzippers.us/2012/09/04/official-democratic-platform-endorses-taxpayer-funded-abortions/ Official Democratic Platform Endorses Taxpayer-Funded Abortions… The Democratic party in a nutshell. Via Weekly Standard: The 2012 Democratic party will officially adopt an extreme position on the issue of abortion on Tuesday. According to a copy of the party platform, which was released online just before midnight on Monday, “The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay.” That last part–”regardless of ability to pay”–is an endorsement of taxpayer-funded abortions, a policy that President Obama has personally endorsed. Obama wants Medicaid to pay directly for elective abortions, and Obamacare will allow beneficiaries to use federal subsidies to purchase health care plans that cover elective abortions. According to a 2009 Quinnipiac poll, 72 percent of voters oppose public funding of abortion and 23 percent support it. In other words, public funding of abortion–a policy President Obama actively supports–is as unpopular as banning abortion in the case of rape, a policy on which the media have focused much attention over the past two weeks despite the fact that neither presidential candidate supports it. I met a traveler from an antique land Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal these words appear: “My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!” Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away. |

...use reached a record 46.7 million ...Spending ...totaled $6.21 billion in June ...The record is $6.26 billion spent in September 2011. This looks brilliant. Get more people on the program and reduce the cost, as prices are going up on food. Maybe it ties together Barry's austerity plan and Mobama's weight reduction program! |

Recall some wishing weather disasters on the RNC? LMAO! This excuse to move, as it appears will take place, will be news. They've already mentioned 65,000 instead of the previous 74,000, which looks like Plan B. If they do go with Plan C's 20,000 seater, that's about 65-75% failure on attendance, depending on whether you use Plan A or Plan B numbers! OMG, that is choking me from laughter!
