Just heard Caroline Kennedy's speech - what a load of bs. Someone should tell her that her father 's book Profiles in Courage was the work of either Ted Sorenson or Arthur Schlesinger - both Kennedy flunkies. |

Now blathering from.John Kerry. I wonder how these people (from both sides0 are able to look at themselves in the mirror ? Obama is not the second Messiah....neither is ROmney - though to his credit neither he nor his supporters advance that claim. |

According to Carolina, abortion has now morphed into "reproductive health". |

What a stupid statement (cheered by the Democrat faithful) "Ask Osama bin Laden if he is better off now than he was four years ago." The fact is this - four years ago Osama was alive now he is dead. I think if you asked anyone whether he/she is better of dead than alive, that person would answer he/she is better off alive. This must be a night for azzhat speakers. |

Do you think it's dramatically better outside the DNC? Despite modern communications and that great invention of our time, the internet, the average American remains childish in his knowledge and understanding of this nation’s founding principles of limited government and constitutionalism.. What H. L. Mencken wrote almost a hundred years ago still applies today: What [the masses] want principally are safety and security. They want to be delivered from the bugaboos that ride them. They want to be soothed with mellifluous words. They want heroes to worship. They want the rough entertainment suitable to their simple minds. All of these things they want so badly that they are willing to sacrifice everything else in order to get them. The science of politics under democracy consists in trading with them, i. e., in hoodwinking and swindling them. In return for what they want, or for the mere appearance of what they want, they yield up what the politician wants, and what the enterprising minorities behind him want. The bargaining is conducted to the tune of affecting rhetoric, with music by the choir, but it is as simple and sordid at bottom as the sale of a mule. It lies quite outside the bounds of honour, and even of common decency. It is a combat between jackals and jackasses. It is the master transaction of democratic states. How better explain Obama's election in the first place?. And now that he has shown his cards, how better account for the very real possibility that he'll serve a second term? |

. DNC Spin: Joey B. intuitively knows how to feel someone else's pain. They're already talking about what his Father said to him. If you've paid attention a lit bit this stuff is as stale as beer in cups on the stadium floor from last week's game. . |

. Joey B channeled his Father - didn't take long. Joey B says that in every single meeting Obama's question was - how is this going to affect average Americans. That is the only thing that drives Barack on every single issue - how is it going to affect Average Americans. If that is true, it's hard to explain Cash for Clunkers. It's really hard to explain Gas Prices. It's impossible to explain Solyndra. Al Gore can rest easy. Joe Biden is the Fakest Man in America. . |

. Joey B: Barack has such great confidence in you. Yeah, that's why they're taking Salt Shakers off the table and forcing 21 year old healthy people to purchase an approved insurance Policy. . |

At the end of Biden's speech, as the crowd was cheering, he said, "God bless America" which is a way countering the events from yesterday that showed the crowd against the inclusion of God in the Dem. Party platform. |
