. Is Obama trying to put off the Israeli Strike until after the Election? Then give it the go-ahead? No one has asked this Question. I found this buried at the bottom of a new article: "In response to the American official’s statement to Channel 2, “sources close to Netanyahu” said the U.S. is doing what it can to “handcuff” the Israelis and to “frighten the Israeli public”. Think about Hillary's recent comment that American Politician's public statements don't mean anything and reality is something very, very different. I suspect that is the game Obama is playing. Placating the American Jewish Vote and all but threatening the Israeli Leaders privately. http://tinyurl.com/74e35gh . Edited by Mason, Mar 6 2012, 05:49 AM.

Hillary's comments made it obvious they're trying to play both sides. I doubt Barry has fooled Israel any. The benefit of our involvement would seem to be preventing a nuke attack by Israel, avoiding just how heavy the weapons used would be if they must defend themselves. |

Right now Israel needs to make a decision. Do they strike or do they wait hoping for a new administration to come into power which will be pro-Israel Clearly Obama does not support Israel. IMHO It might "solve" a few problems for him if Israel was attacked. He will not really come to its aid. Of course I really don't know if Iran is trying to build a bomb , but from their actions why would you build an atomic site inside a mountain & load them with centrifuges that are capable of refining uranium into weapons grade quality? Once reelected Obama gave up up all pretexts & the results could be disastrous. An Israel strike will send shockwaves through the world's economy. It will cause hatred towards the Jews. There are extreme risks on both sides. Pretext 1. something that is put forward to conceal a true purpose or object; an ostensible reason; excuse: The leaders used the insults as a pretext to declare war. 2. the misleading appearance or behavior assumed with this intention: His many lavish compliments were a pretext for subtle mockery. That's Obama Edited by Baldo, Mar 6 2012, 10:50 AM.

I listened to the speech last night and Netanyahu spoke plainly and clearly that he doesn't talk about any time table regarding the Iran situation. This was a dig at the Obama Administration in my opinion. I don't believe that Netanhayu trusts anything this administration says, but I believe he does trust the American people. |
