The rules for other QBs is simply to win. Winning Ugly is perfectly fine.

In this case, Tebow had over 300 yards passing, 50 yards rushing, a 15 yard or so TD run and couple TD passes - all with zero turnovers. How someone distills that to a slant that other QB's have to complete in Pre-season to be on the Roster is beyond me.

When other "athletic" QBs teams lose - these sportswriters run out demanding it is the duty of City's and Organization's to get an Elite WR, a standout LT, a new OC, a number 2 WR, and on down the line.

Why the difference here, with Tebow?

The disparate treatment can not be any more Polar.

Annette John-Hall: Tim Tebow and God: A polarizing combination

Here is a good example of where many get it all wrong when writing about Tebow. She seems to make an effort to write like an observer, only showing judgment of others who write about Tebow, but the 'conversation' she provides misses the point of why Tebow is the story.

If it was, then Thomas forgot where the post is!!

Keep replaying the first 10 seconds. The fake was weak, but the linebackers over played it because Denver had rushed on every first down in the game (that I recall). Thomas goes out 10 and cuts a slant pattern that was about a 45%.

Bailey Knaub, 16, was mobbed by her teachers and students when she returned to Thompson Valley High School in Loveland after meeting Tim Tebow on Sunday.

"They wanted to know the whole story from beginning to end," Bailey said Monday, also noting that she received 42 new Facebook "friend" requests. "They were so jealous."

Tebow mentioned Bailey, a junior, during his postgame remarks Sunday night, saying the big overtime win against the Pittsburgh Steelers paled in significance when compared to the health struggles she has faced.

Bailey has Wegener's granulomatosis, a rare vascular disorder that has forced her to undergo 73 surgeries in 10 years, the most serious of which was the removal of her left lung in 2010.

I challenge you to find another football analyst call a game winning play - no a Playoff Overtime, 80 yd game ending play as a simple lob pass, or a simple run. They don't do it - it's not done.

They don't even do that with kickers and they don't have to account for 11 players like a QB.

Tebow now has some kind of record for comebacks and OT wins - no matter, they're out to get him.

Tebow may be a limited QB - and may have problems down the line, but the Sports Media is in the business of lobbing superlatives and making heroes. Why the opposition in the case of Tebow?

Let's be honest we earthlings don't have a real good record in treating men of faith who want to spread goodwill & love. I seem to remember that someone was crucified, and eventually, his disciples suffered similar fates.

THE TWELVE APOSTLES:
1. Andrew - crucified
2. Bartholomew - beaten then crucified
3. James, son of Alphaeus - stoned to death
4. James, son of Zebedee - beheaded
5. John - exiled for his faith; died of old age
6. Judas (not Iscariot) "Thaddaeus' - stoned to death
7. Matthew - speared to death
8. Peter - crucifed upside down
9. Philip - crucified
10. Simon - crucified
11. Thomas - speared to death

BTW I am not comparing Tebow to anyone. Just making an observation that our record isn't that swell when one preaches high morals & integrity.

Now the play was "illegal" because the O-line was not straight...trying to claim there weren't 7 Broncos on the line...

Which is like nearly every other play in the NFL...

Fallon has the ability to satirize, yet not be vicious.

However i must admit my attention was drawn to the Top 12 Sporty Lady Hotties slideshow on the right & Hailey & Sierra Partridge.

The Broncos quarterback played through rib, lung and chest injuries he sustained in Denver’s 45-10 loss at New England in the AFC divisional playoffs last weekend.

He won’t need surgery, is expected to make a full recovery with some down time and his offseason training program shouldn’t be affected in any way.

ESPN first reported Wednesday that Tebow got hurt on a third-quarter tackle, then had trouble sleeping because of the pain and underwent an MRI on his chest Monday.

Team spokesman Patrick Smyth said that while he couldn’t confirm the exact extent or nature of the injuries due to team policy, he acknowledged that Tebow finished the game in considerable pain.

Backup Brady Quinn quickly got ready to go into the game after Tebow was hit by Vince Wilfork and Rob Ninkovich, but Tebow stayed in and finished up.

“It’s just the physicality of playing football. Sometimes you get hit and it can hurt a little bit. But, I wanted to play a lot of the game,” Tebow said after the game.

The outcome had long been decided by the time Tebow got hurt.

“I just wanted to show character. You just continue to fight and it doesn’t change who you are, how you play, how you go out there, you should be the same at all times,” Tebow said. “That’s what I wanted to show, it didn’t matter if it was the first play or the last play or you were down by 42. I was going to be the same player and I was still going to give everything I have. Because that’s all I have to give.”
