The California Democratic Party is just plain nuts! They are stuck with an ideology that is failing but can't admit it. So they persist in going the wrong direction. |

The idea of sales tax was to help pay for the infrastructure provided to allow transactions to take place. The consumption of something taxed used to require a meeting point for it to happen. Then you need a place to park, a walkway to get there, security for the area... Sales tax for online sales is just about a cost free bonus if it were to be collected. |
